no, lol...I didn't see them! Only thing is all of them remind me more of Dodger's color's than Cub's. Ben's a smidge less with the red, but hopefully that's just my screen making them look that way

Forgot to post that Jon Jay signed a one year deal with the Royal's. I am happy for him ,super nice guy, he is a great player and brings a ton to a team. He was clutch for us a TON last year and several amazing plays as well. Seeing him pitch at Wrigley was a blast (even tho the circumstances were less than ideal, stil glad I got to see it) Best of luck to him and hopefully we see him again , if needed. He spoke highly of the Cubs.

Sure was good to hear Len and JD! Navarro, AAJ absolutely CRUSHED those home runs! Maybe the meteor crater isn't from a meteor at All..it's from ST!Schwarb's sent his first one of ST out of the yard with style as well.Good times scoring a bunch of runs off of Bauer again...good times, lol

Yes, Fin, it was awesome to hear Len and JD. I hadn't realized how much I missed their banter until last night.

Part of me was hoping the game would end with the score 3-1...but I'll take 11-6 too.

I'm thinking I'll need to bring my W flag to Miami for those four games. Looking forward to that. Someone from the Marlins called me yesterday asking if they could help me with anything like hotels or parking or such. Told them I was a Cub fan, but I was looking forward to the four games. Already have my hotel for two nights (driving home after Thursday's game and drive back on Friday morning).

Wow! Big difference.
I've lost 59 lbs with the keto diet (although I have a lot more to go).

IKR? League minimum is $545...Cubs do offer incentive type bonuses so hopefully they toss Willy some extra $$. With him getting married, I am sure the FO reminded how they take care of families in the Cub Organization.


Also, Ron Coomer bought the old Iron Horse restaurant in Lockport..hopefully we will see an episode of Beer Money there soon!

I really liked the extended interview Hickey gave during the game the other day..I have no idea what Boz exact method was but Hickey seems to be a bit more *no nonsense" ~taking things a little more seriously and not solving issues is not an option*-ish plan. I know that is a "duh" comment from me, lol but I just got the impression that he is going to do his best to unpeel every skill/ aspect a player has, not just improve on one's he has seen them use thus far. I am curious to see how the guys gel with him, especially when things start getting serious. I guve Lester credit for his willingness to try the bounce...esp since Rizzo wasn't on first that day. Riz digs out more than an Excavator, lol...so not having him there is an adjustment to say the least.

WHUP~ Me thinks KB is still harboring some resentment from his time manipulation. I mean, the Cubs were legal in their getting an extra year out of him and they HAVE given him massive bonuses but like I said before, those wanting Harper so bad, be careful what you wish for. KB may not be the lifer that Rizzo(hopefully) wil be . Also , Rizzo doesn't have Bora$$ for an agent. It is GREAT that he is becomming educated on the other side and all, but I got a BAAAAAAAAAAD feeling about this in a few years
