I've been listening to the Cubs Walk-Up songs on Spotify. They sure have to do some fancy editing to make them child friendly at the ballpark. I found the link on the Cubs website. Frankly, I was shocked that they put the songs together and linked to them. The lyrics are pretty vulgar.
First off, good luck tonight! We will be watching from Boston!
Second, I don't know if anyone saw this, but it's a nice article that shows the cameraderie of a lot of these players, even though they're on different teams. Many of them have played together here and there as they were coming up the ranks. This group is from Puerto Rico.
I also look at Lester and Francona and know how much they love and care about eachother, as well as others on these two teams. I remember when Jon Lester was diagnosed with lymphoma his rookie year. Everyone here at the time was devastated. So nice to see him in such good health and form now.
Probably a bigger Cubs fan than you. Being a fan doesn't mean just going "rah rah rah" even after mistakes are made. If a bad decision is made, it should be questioned, especially for a manager. Almost the entire world disagrees with using Chapman the way he did last night. And he's rightfully taking heat for it.
