And my W flag is flying until they are all the way out. Maybe not until Oct 31 when they win the WS. And then I might leave it out a bit longer, just because.

I wish I was close enough to even consider going. Probably going to watch on GameCast. If it's going well I'll watch the actual game. Otherwise, I'll just turn off my phone and go into denial. Ha.

We're still flying our flag too - ours isn't a straight up W flag though. It also says Chicago Cubs on it so I'm good with flying it always. Plus two of my neighbors are Cards fans (one with a flag hence us flying ours). I live in AL. What are the odds of that???

Welp, that didn't go as planned. The Brewers have been the better team in the stretch. I'll tip my hat to them, even though they had every Thursday off in September while the Cubs slogged through the month with only one day off.

I'll be at tomorrow's game wearing my "Try Not To Sucktober" tee shirt.

Yay! We play the Rockies! They will have flown 4,000 miles in 2 days. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a serious case of jet lag while our boys are snuggled in their beds at home.

Ok folks. Listen up. Whenever one of my daughters watches or goes to a game, the Cubs tend to win. When she doesn’t, they don’t. Applied to the last week’s worth of games including this afternoon when she was in school. Applied to the 2016 playoff run too. She will be chained to the TV tomorrow.

Wahoo!!! I just realized I lost my mind! I was thinking we would end of playing the Dodgers, since they won today. Well, duh, obviously they don't play the wild card game since they won! I'm so glad we don't play them!

Update: Kyle Freeland to pitch for Rockies on 3 days rest.

Need to investigate. I’m sure they’ll have all hands on deck though. Arenado is their Yelich. Maybe we learned some lessons today in that regard.

This turn of events may work out nicely. Would’ve had to deal w rain Friday at Wrigley. This way we can win on a beautiful Sunday or Monday in game 3 or 4.

here's the cliff note's. We are 3-3 against them this season, we beat Freeland 3-2. He has not lost since August, but has never won in October Lefties struggle hard against him. Riz is locked in, not worried about him, JHey just may follow suit. On the upside, we can ditch Murphy early for defense. Going to come down to the 25 man roster, really, which you can guarantee will have Terrence Gore on it. Oh, and we kinda know what Davis throws.

Good morning, Cub fan's, we doing o.k.? Game 43 in 44 tonight. Any other team care to do that next year and prove they are better? Didn't think so. I remember one team crying in a corner after getting swept on game 30 in a row, losing their standing...we not only held the lead, but a tie breaker was needed. 40 man roster argument doesn't hold water , I mean, the schedule is the schedule right? MLB decisions are fair, right? Joe stitched together with what he had, brilliantly. Other teams momentum is the fear of one Division title and done, they know they will have big time regression happen.

Onward!!!!!!!!

Rockie's arrived, we have Pedro available(his words) tho I imagine Joe still not wanting to use him unless absolutely necessary today. Bulldog Lester with Hamel's, Jesse somewhat available but pretty sure Cishek is out unless absolutely necessary. CJ, please have your head on right because you are gong to be called on. Not really sure what to expect with the bats, but as of now, weather looks more to be blowing in with heavy-ish air. As we have Hamel's, Rockies have Sentenzala..tho I would think they prefer to save him if the advance?Nvm..they will save Sentezala..only one of their pitchers to beat MKE

I had sent in the $50 deposit for post season tickets. Got email last night that I could try at 9 AM. I can not go tonight but tried to see what was available. I could get 2 terrace reserved outfield, $112 each, all taxes and fees included, club box infield, $309 each.

Hopefully they will do it tonight and go forward.
