Hi everybody! Geez... it took me forever to get on this board today. And I can't figure out why I only get some of the email posts. Oh, well...

The Dells weekend was fun but freezing! My souvenir was a big old head cold. Today it does seem to be getting better, though. DS did not go skiing - I think he was afraid to take a lesson alone. I can't ski - wasn't able to at 15, sure can't now. DH has never skiied - now would not be a good time to break a leg.

So, today, I get an email notification from Holiday Inn Priority Club that the reservation that I made for the 1st night in Florida in Winter Haven was no longer available for my points redemption since the hotel had been sold. So, the email says call as soon as possible to make other arrangements. I immediately call, get 2 people who don't know or want to know what to do, finally get a 3rd person who I wouldn't let off the phone until he figured this out. Hello...this is my first night in Florida after driving for a zillion hours, it is Spring Break, it is Spring Training, I made reservations in November and now I don't have one! One hour later, the person gets our account credited and a new reservation made at 5,000 extra points that I didn't have! I received the email confirmation. The room isn't as good as the original one booked and there isn't a free breakfast buffet but at least I have a reservation and it is closer to Spring Training. Just a momentary blip in my well thought out travel plans.

One more work day until the weekend. I can't wait for the warmer weather this weekend. Come on, spring!

Glad you finally found someone who helped you out. IMO the new owners should still have honored your ressie.

Hello! I am getting tired of this cold weather. I now have the makings of a cold. I stayed home yesterday which is very unusual from me. The quiet helped me. I didn't have to be nice

Today I'm just tired. I can't blame the child for this germ since he is sick too.

Well off to start dinner.

Where to begin...I spoke with the dr regarding dd's visit. He said xh (the one who took her) wanted the antibiotic, even though the urinalysis showed nothing! Just because she had one infection in the past! It was not her regular dr, just the one on call, so he did it. Her dr said to take it off and see if she felt better. He said it could cause cramps! So, imagine my suprise when I get a call at work yesterday...dS threw up at school! I had to get him and he was fine- bit of a spontaneous puker. Also turns out it was more of a spit up. Grr!
Thanks to all about the info. DD has had a trace amount of blood in her urine for the past few years, so they still may order the tests, once I speak with her dr.
MOH- Still acting like nothing happened, so I went ahead and emailed her. I said I was hoping for some clarification as to what I overheard or an apology of some sort. I'll keep you posted!
Really, my life is usually pretty calm. I don't know what has happened these last few days! Crazy! I am looking forward to the weekend. DD is going with her aunt to HSM on ice. Anyone else?
