Just dropping back in quickly to let you all in on a cool thing that happened. Our friends in CA that live near DL were spending tonight at the Grand Cal. for their anniversary. I called the GC this morning and ordered a gift basket to have delivered to their room as a suprise. They called this evening to thank us for the gift basket. They were granted a dream!!! They were upgraded to the PRESIDENTIAL SUITE!!! I hope I helped them get that. When I ordered the basket, the CM asked what the occasion was they were celebrating, so I told her it was their anniversary. She was very nice and helped to select the stuff for the basket. I wish I could remember her name. I would be sure to send a note.

Last night I went to a Chamber of Commerce dinner - it was nice!! They had a golf outing yesterday, but I don't golf so I didn't do that part I just showed up for dinner

Slo- I've got my boy and I've got my girl already so it doesn't really matter, but I'm hoping its a boy. We'll see on thursday.

In that case, it's probably a girl!! My poor DH...he wanted a boy for our first child, got a girl. Then baby #2 came along, changed his mind and wanted another girl -- got a boy. Baby #3, wanted another girl, got a boy! By the time baby #4 came along -- he said he would like another girl but since he never gets what he wants it would be a boy. Sure enough it was a boy!!! I do know my DD was *really* hoping baby #4 was a girl, she was none too happy when we told her it was going to be another brother. She still thinks we should get her a sister (even if we had to adopt!) I'm not so sure I would be able handle 5 kids!!! She'll just have to live with our cat being her sister.

That's why I had to chuckle when you said you are hoping for a boy. Only a few more days and you'll find out if all goes well (my DD never cooperated to be able to tell but since she was our first we didn't want to know anyway).

Can't wait to hear.

Howdy folks!!!



Anyone else get lots of rain!!! I was thankful for it all!!! Let it pour I say!!!


Lauren had a play date with a classmate today. Lots of fun!


We are off in a few to hit the toy store for a couple things for Hunter's b-day.
Lauren is in charge of distracting her brother!!!


And I'm about ready to pull out my hair over our business!!! I've had one house closing date change 3 times just today alone!!!! I keep changing my plans to accommodate this closing and having to re-reschedule everything!!!!!
I shouldn't complain though, it is our busy season.




slo I'm happy I got to be in the 1st group of people to enter the AG sale, but unfortunately I couldn't score tickets for Lauren and my mom too.
So I'm going in early and then we'll all go back at our other ticket time of 11:45. At least I'll be able to get Lauren what she really wants before it's all scooped up!!!!!
Much luck with the hospital business. Let's hope this old costumer of yours is correct in his thinking!!

Today is actually my brother's birthday too
We celebrated last night with my family because both my brother and I have to work tonight. We all went out to dinner and then to my mom's for some birthday pie - it was a very nice night!!!


bigben - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!

Mac - I'm glad the boys are on the mend!!!!

Bunchkin - That's actually really great that you get to go back in a second time, because you may see things the second time that you didn't see the first time. It really sounds like you are going to have a great day!!!!


Well, I gotta go get ready for work in a hurry today because Stephanie has to be at daycare early to go to a Gary Railcats game today - I hope they don't get rained on But knowing all these kids, they won't care if they have to be in the rain - but I"m sure the teachers won't like it to much.

Good morning everyone!!! I must be ill, I am up way early. Already have 2 loads of in the works, played with the and did a little dusting. The toad is really on the move at this hour. Guess you have to be awake early to see him do anything.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HUNTER!!!! Hope he has a great day. Bunchy just let me know where you'll be when, and I'll just see what I can do for ya!

Mac, glad to hear there are some kids finally on the mend over there. Did you finally get that rain. We got a nice shower yesterday and a good soaking early this morning. Thunder and all. Was waiting for DS to come in my room to camp out. Thankfully, he slept through it.

The sun it up now, and I hope it stays. We are spending the day with our friends in Frankfurt and swimming (well, the kids are) in their nice pool. I'll just enjoy my drinkS

Morning..

Well we leave a week from today.. so I need to start getting some of the lists made and mail stopped etc.. I mentioned to the boys that after laundry this weekend, that they were to seperate clothes for the trip and not wear them.. 'cause I'm not doing laundry 'til we are at WDW. BTW have anyone seen powdered unscented laundry detergent? I have been looking and it seems to me that everything has been switched to liquid.. and I don't wanna fly with liquid detergent..


Today Geoff has a driving lesson.. then only 1 more.. YIKES!!! So let ye be warned that he is soon to be taking to the road .. maybe I'll make a sign for the back of the car that says " Caution Teen driver"
