time to do laundry and all that fun stuff...


slo, i take son to the train , union station tomorrow afternoon. he goes back to macomb then.

i have maps, lots of them i pick up at union station.
mvazul, do you want me to pick up the brochures for the different sites of chgo tomorrow and mail them to you? just let me know.

hoping the river will still be green tomorrow when i go downtown. i'll take my camera with me in case it is.

This is going to sound really CRAZY!! But you (Macraven) mentioning Union Station reminded me that I thought maybe it would be fun to have a DIS MEET at the train station downtown. I figured all the kids could experience the fun of the train, we could come from all over the state (or states), and then meet in the HUGE food court. I actually saw a group there when I was down there for Polar Express and that's what made me think of it. After we eat lunch as a group we could all go somewhere together or just go our seperate ways. What do you think?????

We were thinking of going downtown to see the parade today, but I'm still getting over this cold/virus thingie, so it's just a *tad* too cold out there still. We are going to record the parade and head off to the PETACULAR exhibit in Schaumburg. I love my little doggie, so looking forward to seeing what I can get to spoil him with!

LEIGH...many, mnay congratulations on becoming a homeowner!!! It is an exciting time, enjoy every minute!

MAC...Our youngest son graduates from college this May...yeah!...but he is in Dubuque, so I know how hard it is to have them away...hang in there!

"I'm from Dublin," replies the second man.

Good Afternoon all
Happy Saint Patty's day!!!

We will be at WDW at the same time. Just look for a mom pulling her hair out. lol
This will be my first trip with just the kids. Normally I bring an adult to help but couldn't get anyone to come along this time.

I leave tomorrow afternoon for a 2 day drive to WDW. I will be there for 12 days. Longest trip I have ever had. I plan to rest a lot but have lots of fun too.

Wouldn't you know it I am sick today. I am having a hard time trying to pack as all I want to do is lay down. I hope I am doing better tomorrow when I have to start driving.

Well I hope everyone is well and I will see you all in 2 weeks.

geffric, this is WIU's spring break. they get out of school from finals i think on May 10th. if their break was at easter time, wouldn't be much time left before the end of school.

disneynut............i feel for you. i drove to wdw only 2 times and swore i would never do it again.
have a very safe trip and take lots of kleenix with you. hope you feel better overnight !

well, i wasted another day of my life today.
did laundry but never made it to the grocery store.

i should get moving on that as i don't have a thing to fix for dinner

DH is working his fingers to the bone as we are swapped with work!! Which is good, so I'm not complaining!
I always tell him: love ya, get to work, bring home bacon!! And I don't mean the kind you can cook!!

SamIAm and DD came over for lunch today. Lots of fun!!


I need to get to the basement and drag up the suitcases and give them a vacuuming off and a good dose of Fabreeze!
