Geffric- sorry to hear about your work situation and the cut in commission :sad2:  Hoping better days ahead for you in finding a new job, things changing for the better :) Keep us posted on the job situation.

Just noticed I'm at 1600 posts or 1601 posts now! :dance3: :woohoo:

Good night everyone.

hi ya rosemarie.

i just threw it out there if anyone was planning on going when i was.

maybe sometime if we could get 4 ladies together and rent the suites at all star music you could do that for a few days.

i know in value season the suites are $169 a night, divide that by 4 ladies would make it cheap for some of them. that figure is before tax though.

i always use my AAA for the room discount.

Good evening all.
Thanks for the blast from the past Dan. :thumbsup2 I was in college and home for the weekend of Superbowl working at the restaurant I worked at all through high school, and we had quite the party that night. It was a private party for friends of the owners and their families. What a blast!!!! Good memories.:)
I have the (get ready now all you youngsters) 45 of that record. Still have it and the newspapers from the win. I believe the Tribune and maybe SunTimes. Still in good shape, too. Kept it moving with me all these years. I listened to that record over and over and wrote down all the words to the whole thing. :rotfl2:
So, :cheer2: :cheer2: the old cheerleader in me says, Go Bears

Oh, and as far as the old Bears go, have to laugh. My DH works with Matt Suey. That just cracks me up. DH is an IT guy and the company he works for does some stuff with one of the charities that Walter Payton started and now Matt Suey does. So he still comes in with IT problems and my DH gets the honor of helping him out. Small world.
While not from the Superbowl Bears, Mike Tomczak's grandparents belonged to my old church and we would see him there with them on holidays. That was sort of neat. I'd feel sorry for him because the kids in the congregation would interrupt his family time at church for autographs.
You just never know where you will see people. They are just people after all.

What a beautiful, white, snowy morning I am waking up to today. I don't love snow to much, but I do like what it looks like when it first comes down, and everything is freshly covered. :)

I had such a good day yesterday.:goodvibes
I spent the morning and afternoon with Bunchkin and her children. We had such a nice time, and Stephanie was sad when we had to leave:guilty: . She really enjoys spending time with Bunchkins DD :goodvibes . Then last night Kevin and I watched You, Me, and Dupree, and I really really enjoyed it - I would recommend it:thumbsup2

HERSEY - Did you have a nice visit with your friend yesterday?

Becky - I looked at your pictures, and they are great!!!!:thumbsup2

Mindy - Did you have a nice visit with your Dad? Where in Wisconsin does he live?

macraven - Where is Bong? I never heard of that.

Tiggernnn - Thanks for posting about The Limited Too having HSM items - I"ll have to check that out for Steph :thumbsup2

Dan - How good to see you!!!!! :wave2: Thanks for posting the pictures. I'm not a football fan, but I sure hope the Bears win :cheer2:

Rose - How cool about your pastor!!! :) Also, congrats on your post count!!:cheer2:

Bunchkin - Thanks again for the fun day yesterday  Stephanie realized after we were almost home that I left my stroller in your van. I'll need to call you to set up a time to come get it :)

Well, I gotta get going
Have a good day today everyone!!!

Good snow morning everyone. I hope this snow means BEARS WIN :cool1: Then I would be excited for the snow.:lmao:

Slo Yes it's always great spending time with her. Did I ever tell you her daughter and I were in the same hospital at the same time having our kids. My friends granddaugher and Alex are soo much alike. We all think the hospital did something to them :rolleyes1 Way to much in common.

Oh guess what I get to do today. Give up shop for tires. Sounds like fun. Only I can get a flat that can't be fixed.

We finally saw Night at the Museum.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Really a good movie. Even with 5 people talking behing you narrating every comercial, preview parts of the movie.

Happy snow day! Like SLO, I love the way snow looks when it first comes down, everything is so white, fresh, pretty and peaceful. (Not like later when it becomes grungy and dirty and black and messy!) Are we all ready for the BEARS game today???!!! I am not a real big football fan, as I understand baseball and enjoy watching those games a LOT more, but I think everyone is Chicago in a *bit* of a BEARS fan right now! Thanks, DAN, for sharing the links to then and now...

Hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing Sunday!:)

Good morning, everyone! I'm sooooo sleepy
11.gif
I took a Zyrtec yesterday because I was going to friend's house and she has a kitty. Well, it worked, I was able to even pet the kitty and I was fine :thumbsup2 But it makes me sooo drowsy

Becky - were you all the Allstate? That gets kinda crazy. I'm glad you had fun, though! :goodvibes

Hello to everyone else!!! Go BEARS! :yay:

:thumbsup2 The last time I went we were seeing Monsters, Inc. on ice with DD's Girl Scout troop! We took a different way than the way I went last night, drove right to the arena and boom we were there, no problems.

Of course, Monsters, Inc. wasn't sold out either! We just had problems because that time it was in the snow & I had no clue where I was going!! I couldn't see well and was basically following the leader's car! THANKFULLY she had a neon pink glow in the dark Tinkerbell on her vehicle & cell phones.

In that respect this was easier because I could see but the traffic was awful and we came in some backwards way that I had no idea where were going to end up but we did end up at the parking area, then the fiasco to find a place to actually park the vehicle.

Mac - I am in for a week in October... IF and this is a big IF I am employed..

Sorry I have been MIA again. but working like a crazy person on this new territory and boss et all..

Well the boys are off Skiing and last night I watched Somethings gotta give with Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholsen.. It was good, glad I got it for free from the library though..:thumbsup2

Today just finished the 2005 scrapbook and now I am going to work on my resume.. with of course the Bears in the background..

:cheer2: :cheer2: GO BEARS:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'll stop by to chat later..

I'm just stopping in for a super duper quick hello while waiting for Ms. Katie to fall asleep. Then Stephanie and I have to do some studying (for her) and then I think we are going to veg out on the couch :happytv: . Kevin got all the fixins to make homemade pizza tonight - so it's going to be a great indoor day :thumbsup2

HERSEY - I'm glad you had a nice time visiting with your friend :goodvibes That's a neat story about how you and her DD were in the materinity ward at the same time - very cool!!!!
*I'm glad you liked Night at the Museum - we really loved it too!!!! :thumbsup2

Donna - Believe it or not, I'm not watching the Bears game today :sad2: I will catch the highlights on the news. Kevin will be watching it though, and I'm sure he will get me updated on what is going on :)

Jedi - I take Zyrtec everyday, and it used to make me drowsy too ::yes:: Luckily though, it never made me as drowsy as Benedryl - that stuff makes me feel very drunk :upsidedow

Becky - The Allstate Arena can get crazy around show time. I remember when we went to see Elton John - I was so glad we took a Limo (a huge group of us went together) because it would have been absolutly crazy if we didn't.

Well, it seems very quiet upstairs - I better go check on her to see if she's sleeping:cutie:

Later gaters!!!

Hi Everyone…

I have been MIA for a little bit because after having an incredible time at the HSM concert I got the bug from DD. Wow! What a doozy! I was pretty sick and still don’t really have any energy. Thank goodness it’s the weekend and my DH was home. The baby got terrible runs and after thinking DD was well (because she is acting fine) she has the terrible runs too! Oh well. I better stop before this post becomes way TMI!!!! Let’s just say things are NOT fun around here right now. I pray no one else gets it! My DD was with my Mom the whole time DH was taking care of DS and me so I think DH and Grandma are doomed. I feel really bad.

I haven’t been able to read and catch up on the posts but I will be back.
I hope you guys are all OK. I am going to try and go back and read now even though I am feeling a bit dizzy!

Good afternoon everybody.
Debbie I hope you feel better soon.
Just checking in. Watching the game after taking the kids sledding near our house. Big hill by a retention pond. Came home to do :laundy: , work on PTO stuff and watch DA BEARS!! :cheer2: Go Bears!!! Looking good so far, but I won't count any chickens. Still early.
Not a good week here for my family. My older cousin had been in the hospital this week with heart trouble. (He had lots of probs with his heart before now) and I learned this morning that he didn't make it this time. So I guess now there will be another wake and funeral to go to this week. He was a lot older than I am, but 1st cousin. Seems the only time I see my dad's side of the family any more is when somebody passes away. He was my dad's nephew.
OH well. Better run and get some work done.
Later.

DonnaW
DEBBIE...Addison is actually pretty close to *me* as I live in Roselle and I actually work in an office that is in Addison! And, yep, my head is spinning, too with all this century/50/100 stuff...I just know that this year when it's *my* birthday I'll be hitting the 50-mark and I am NOT happy about that! <well, maybe if I could manage to get a trip to Disney out of it, I would change my mind??? >
Then you are very close to Lisa...DisneyOhana. She is very nice. Took me about 20 minutes to get to Yorktown. Not too bad.:goodvibes

Don't you live in Chicago? And it only took you 20 minutes to get to Yorktown? I live in Lisle and it takes me about 20 minutes to get to Yorktown. :confused3

I hope you feel better!
