samIam21 - is there something with the full moon about making a decision? Because I need to decide by midnight tonight if I'm going to DL by myself in March!! Well, I don't HAVE to - I have a air reservation on hold. It's a good deal, too. $218 to Santa Ana from Ohare!

I'm so glad it's already Wednesday. I like short weeks.

Well gang......I'm officially done packing
The only thing left is my make-up bag and a hair brush, of which I will still need until I go, and then I will throw it in the suitcase on Friday morning

Stephanie had a great first day back at school Her teacher didn't give to much homework, so I was pretty happy about that

geffric - I am so sorry that you had a horrible day at work today Hopefully you are able to be home now and take it easy until tomorrow. I"ll send you lots of PD your way for a better day tomorrow

Hmmm... so if I went to buy an AP voucher at the Disney store before a trip in April, I could use it again for our next spring break, which will invariably be in March in 2008 because Easter falls early next year. Hmmmm, hmmm, great more decisions. However, I hear of people saving oodle boodles of money with one of those babies!! Too bad those APs don't work in California and Florida!! Thanks Hersey, I'm going to check into this and see how it goes!!

Hi everyone...
It is very exciting reading about you guys going on or planning trips! I can't believe Slo & Bunchkin are going already! Time flies by! My Mom and I are contemplating a March trip. We have a time-share in Orlando that my Dad got for a steal but we have never used it. We are the monorail snobs so I don't know how it would be and I not sure about traveling with the kids yet without the men to help. Matthew is still only 14 months and my Mom and I both have these bum shoulders acting up all the time so I don't know if I could manage lugging everything around.

Hope you all had a great day. I am staying very busy but once again don't feel like anything ever gets accomplished. I did return a ton of stuff so that should help a little, as the bills need to be paid!

Very tired.... My DH is sick now so he is snoring worse than ever. I can't take it! I actually slept with my DD to avoid it last night! Not a very good night of rest.
I just keep praying I don't get it!
to those of you who need to feel better yourselves!

DD is doing better. She has been going to bed. Mornings are rough but I never liked mornings myself. At least we make it out the door for school. The eating thing is OK. I need to work harder at that.

The TV is back! What a rip. We bought that TV only about 2years ago and now had to drop another 180.00 into it! That's such bull but I wasn't ready this soon to buy another TV!

Just got done getting proded and poked and asked a million questions by our new life insurance company's doctor. He asked if I was nervous because my blood pressure was a little high. I told him I leave for a vacation in 2 days, the first one without kids. He told me to relax!! I told him "I'm a mom, I don't know how to relax!!".


slo I can't believe your done packing!! YAY for you!! I should be done by tonight to tomorrow. I'm just working on our carryon bag.
Tony's eyes seem to light up when I told him Kevin has a racing museum/basement!!


SamIAm We've done AP's before!! They do save a ton of money!! You can also get that Dining card too to save money with!!

samIam, i bought an ap once and never again. i didn't save the money i thought i would. i use the AAA card for the discounts on the room and tickets.

bunchkin, driving is scary. that's my story and i am sticking to it.

jedi, we need to do food together again. what did it take us to eat that night at pita inn, 15 minutes and then another 3hours and 15 minutes to yak?

Bunchkin, glad to hear DH was OK. That is why I will always take the train and then walk wherever I need to go. I hate that drive. Those crazy other drivers make me whiteknuckled by the time I get to my destination. Sometimes I have to pry my hands off the steering wheel.

Slo, where is this place your friend works at for donating used toys? My DS has a huge collection of Rescue Heroes hardly played with that I wouldn't mind getting rid of, not to mention the loads of other outgrown things I don't know what to do with. I know I don't want to hassle with any more garage sales. Too much work with little return.
And, no I wasn't in a twin delivery. My 2006 delivery was around 4:30 in the afternoon. (just the last one we had for that day) My 2007 delivery was the next day at 7 in the evening (just our first one for that day). So it was fun to be the nurse for both of those big events.
Jedi, I hope you take your trip to DL for yourself. It would be just the thing to cheer you up. I would love to take a trip by myself. I could get up at the crack of dawn and open the parks and stay to close them if I still felt like it without someone else making me feel like I was putting them out. I'm a commando parker at heart. DH-not so much.
OK well, going downstairs now to work on the undecorating ALL BY MYSELF!! Kids still home this week, so not much gets done around here during the day.

Am protesting at work to see if I can get let off the hook one of those nights!) and Friday is my day with DH (if we don't fight again ) I'll let you know if I can get that night off (Thurs). If not, then we'll definitely do it the week after!!

BTW, I'm still up because I'm being a good birdie mom. Baby has been in her cage all day long. I worked both jobs and so I'm trying to give her time out of her cage so she can play and hang out with me. I feel bad leaving her all day like that. She's used to DH being around and letting her out all day long (since he worked at home)

he laughs..........he said he would never find another woman that lets him take off as much as he does just to do things with friends or go on solo trips.

he does about 6 or more short camping trips a year and about 4 bike trips.


i think the way is paved for my trip now.............
