Good morning, everyone. I'm still here. Last night I was weak I turned on the heat. That made Alex very happy. While I like fall with all it's colors I don't like what comes next. It's time to plan another vacation.

Tiggerrn2 Have a good trip take pictures of the new renov at Wl for me. They were doing some of the rooms when I was down there. But alas we were in the "old" rooms. I thought the 'old" rooms were very nice. Better kept then the "new room at CB.

Good morning all- happy Saturday

Hi Hersey, tiggerrn, JoeEpcotRocks, piglet too and everyone else

Anyone interested in buying popcorn, pizza kits, pie kits, cookie dough, or wreaths? My ds is selling for his Cub Scout fundraiser. The pizza, pie kits and cookie dough are from Little Ceasars. The popcorn in the tins, range from $10-$15, mostly in the $15 range. The pizza kits range from $16-$18, different kinds of pizza kits. Crazy bread kit is around $14 and $16.Pie kits are $18. Cookie dough is $16.
The wreaths are above $20. Also selling gourmet hot chocolate for $10 and breakfast blend coffee for $10.
If anyone is interested in buying any, please PM me. Tho, when all this comes for delivery in a month or so, you would have to pick your merchandise up by me b/c I don't know if I'll be at any Dismeets(if there is still any). The popcorn comes in the weekend before Thanksgiving. The pizza kits, pie kits, and cookie dough is supposed to come in late October or early November.
As of meets, I know I will defintely will not be at the Wicked one :guilty:
Ok, so if anyone is interested in purchasing any of the food or wreaths, just PM me :)

Have a good day, everyone!

I never heard of Webelos unplugged :confused3 what is that and where is it?
The only thing later this afternoon is Matthew has a den activity and then the pack meeting on church grounds across the street from me. We have a bonfire on the grounds of the church.
Sorry we'll miss out on hte Webelos unplugged :guilty:

Good luck with Eric's football game today!

Want to do an early welcome back home for Slo. I guess you'll be back sometime today or tomorrow,Slo?
Welcome back from the World!! party: :dance3:

What a busy day today is going to be. I'm glad I'm not going anywhere near Chicago. :rotfl2:

My 9 year old is off at a Weeblo thing today too. It was an overnight for last night but that was impossible for us to attend with him, his leader wanted him to go since they are covering 4 badges, so I brought him over there this morning and the leader is the adult in charge with him (my DH works on the weekends & I have the 3 other kids -- no tagalongs allowed -- so we are basically stuck with these kind of things). I hope he listens OK. It's not his strong point.

Then in my infinate wisdom I signed up to sell popcorn at a booth today. I had actually signed both my 9 year old & 6 year old up, not thinking my 9 year old would be at the Webelo thing, so I cancelled him but left the 6 year old. I had tried to make it where I just did them both at once everytime. Luckily it's only for 1 hour, so not a big deal but I just don't feel like going. LOL!

Get to come home and then run DD to gymnastics/cheer today...we shall see if she wants to do the gymnastics -- it's open gym & she woke up saying she had a headache, so she may only want to go to her cheer class & not the open gym that happens beforehand.

Thankfully, DS den leader is bringing him home -- he is supposed to get done & DD cheer at the exact same time. I already arranged for my mom to pick up my DD so we will leave that since who knows if the scout thing will get done exactly when it says it will or early/later. I was supposed to go pick him up but his leader offered today rather than me driving back out to where it is held at (not just around the corner type of thing), I have a feeling though it might be his friend bringing him home instead since they live on the same street as us just a few houses up.

Last night was DD's gymnastics parent meeting, so now I know how to plan my life -- around her meets. :rotfl2: She gets to spend her 13th birthday competing. Her birthday is on a Saturday and she has a gymnastics meet that day & then Sunday she has a cheer meet. Nothing like forget going to American Girl on your birthday, looks like it's going to have to be over spring break again this year. She had been so excited at the thoughts of it being ON her actual birthday. The meet is in Itasca too which is the farthest one we have to go to this year. I'm hoping we can still go out to dinner as a family like we normally do as our tradition but that may even have to adjust. She's bummed but at least she has time to adjust to it, it's not until March. Guess I'll probably have to buy her something at the meet since I'm sure I'll hear "It's my birthday, PLEASE....." for stuff. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Becky- Your schedule sounds real busy :scared:
Hope everything goes well today.

Happy birthday to your dd!! :bday: :cake:

Hi Allison, how are you? :wave2:
Good, I had a Back to school party yesterday. It was fun, it had Dance Dance Revolution. :) They had all the 'popular' songs, but at the end they played 2 Country songs. (Redneck Woman, and Boot Scootie Boogie)

StitchfansJr Alex loves dance dance revolution. We did that at his Fun fair last year. :wave2:

 Hey to all those still here in the "otherland". Okay, you guys, what is Deal or No Deal? :confused3

Have a great day! :)

Donna, you don't know Deal or No Deal? where have you been? :confused3

It is a game show on NBC with the 26 briefcases with money in it. Howie Mandel hosts it with 26 models holding hte briefcases. It's been on almost a yr now, every so many weeks and then it's off of tv for a couple of months, then back on again.
I'm sure you have seen it? You are the reality show queen, right? :rotfl2:

Here's the website to Deal or No Deal www.nbc.com/dond

Hi, Rose...nope, haven't seen it. It must come on when I'm watching some "other" reality show! I don't know about being the reality show queen...I *just* watch the dance shows, and the Amazing Race, Idol when it's on. I used to watch Survivor, but just got tired of it, I guess. I LOVE House, and Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives...not really reality shows, are they??

I suppose you can win a lot of $$ with this Deal show; I would imagine that Navy Pier will be a mob scene today!

If slo is due home...Welcome BACK!!!!! You were obviously, sorely missed around (here) 'otherland'! ;)

HONEY, I'M HOME!!!! :teeth:

As much fun as we always have, it's always good to come home!!!! :goodvibes

We had a great time with the different activities we did this trip. We were not to happy with the HIGH crowds that were there though :sad2: In the 6 years we have been taking the kids in September, this is the highest we have ever seen the crowds. What's even more of a bummer, is we talked to CM's that said the week prior to us being there, it was dead :guilty: I will do a brief trip report later when I have more time.

Kevin and I did decide this trip that this is our last year staying on property. His parents have a time share (condo) a stone's throw away from WDW and we are going to start using that. The condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room, kitchen, and it would only cost us $200 for the whole time we are there. Plus, it would give us a lot more room. We were starting to feel very confined in our room. I'm looking forward to that next trip.

So what's new around here?

I saw Nicole had to go to WDW w/o here husband :guilty: I feel so bad for her. I'm sure they will still have a good time, but I still feel bad that her DH couldn't go :guilty:

Well, I gotta run and start unpacking. There is so much dirty laundry, it's making my head spin

Have a good day and talk to you later.

SloWelcome back :dance3: I'm glad you had a good time. Too bad so many people joined you there.

I've previously informed all my relatives that the first one to buy a condo close to WDW gets beat! ;) Last thing I need is the hassle of the internal struggle to justify staying on property when cheap or free accomodations could be had minutes away. :lmao:

Seriously though, that's why I bought into DVC. So that I could always stay at nice resorts for much less cost. This year, CarolAnnC decided in August that we were going to WDW in December. Of course, all the DVC resorts were already booked solid for that week. So, we ended up trading into the AKL with a savannah view for the first four nights, then moving to SSR for the final three days.

Welcome back, Slo!! :yay:  :cheer2:
You are the first one back from the World from our board!! :Pinkbounc

Sorry to hear about the big crowds :guilty: I think I remember Michelle saying( or someone else) awhile back, this is the second year WDW offered the free dining suring hte end of August til the end of Sept. I'm also thinking with the no hurricanes hitting the mainland(namely Florida) and the Year of a Million Dreams thing starting, it has made a ton of DISers and other people(non DISers) just make plans to be at WDW at this time. I'm thinking a combo of all those things has made hte parks extremely crowded :guilty:
Well, hope you had a great time, anyways :)
Besides your trip report, love to hear what other DISers you bumped into, the meeting up with ANTSS and other DISers that one night, etc. :teeth:

Also, I have heard they started the Year of a Million Dreams thing early by a week or two. Technically it starts today(Oct 1), but I have read on other boards that people at WDW have won small things about a week ago or so at hte parks. Slo, did you guys win anything or saw another family win something?

Have a good day, everyone!
