Hi! No time to read right now, but I'm at the GC in DL! I went to DL today, and will go to DCA tomorrow. The lines are really low here, mostly walk-ons. I saw the original Tiki bird show.

I've never been to DL, DCA, or California in general, so it's nice to get this trip report!

If we are *really quiet* did any of you guys read through the Year of Million Dreams rules, etc... You can do a mail in to win prizes and it's in Elmhurst, Illinois! But....*shhh* we don't want *all* of the DIS to hear because then our chances might get diminished.

You won't get to sleep in the Castle or any of the prizes that require you to be at the parks but they will substitute with gift bags & things.

I knew about hte "mail-in" about a week ago, from the Park and Attractions? board here, on the DIS.
I did mail in one today! When I read the address for the USA is in Elmhurst, I waslike wow! Hope one(or all of us) Chicago Disers wins!

Wow, it sure is dead around here! This is my last night here. Tomorrow morning we're going to get some food at a little snack thing here, and then leave to go to Santa Monica for the wedding.

I rode Dumbo tonight. There was no line, so after I rode the Casey Jr. Circus Train (a kiddie ride that I didn't ride last time but wanted to ride), I went over and hopped on Dumbo. But while I was on it, the parade ended by Fantasyland and then everything had a line again when I got off. I had already ridden everything early in the morning, though, so it was ok. Got to ride Mr. Toad! I went on Pirates every day that I was here. It really is better than the one at WDW, especially now since the refurb. It's just so good. It's 15 minutes long. The Captain Jack animatronics are very life-like, esp. the first one. I took pictures, but I'll have to see if they turned out. I didn't use flash, but tried to adjust my camera for it. I think some of the pictures were good, but not all of them. I did some pin trading, although not as much as I would have liked. I got a coon-skin cap in Frontierland tonight!

Ok, I'd better try to do some packing up and organizing now. I might have more time to post over the next two days, but I guess I might not. I'll just have to see.

Got Matthew a pirate costume at Walmart . May not look like Captain Jack Sparrow, but the costume will do. Couldn't find anything for Chrissy yet. Still deciding what she wants to be for Halloween.

DH has a eye doctor appt in the morning. Then we have Cub Scouts in the afternoon.
Hope it works out well for any Chicagoans going tomorrow AM. I'm guessing traffic near and at Navy Pier is going to be crazy

Next week is going to be just nuts between packing, laundry, and the school book fair. I wish it was gone already. I'd love to be on my way.
