Good evening all. Bunchkin, so sorry your DH will be missing out. :grouphug: I'm sure you will still have a great time. Just different than you planned. You might find some of your best memories to be made on this trip.
Got the pool scrubbed up. Now moving on to the next million items on the list :rotfl:
Here's a question for those of you who have eaten there, DD wants to do a character breakfast at CP (again). I had a ADR for Coral Reef in Epcot for dinner. Should I cancel this and do the breakfast instead? Kids aren't fancy eaters and I read the review of Coral Reef here. Didn't sound too promising. Anybody ever eat dinner there?
DMM I bet you are so excited (as well as the rest of you heading out in the next few days). I am excited for all of you.
We have our DM tags so that is the plan. Only problem now is getting groceries. Last time we did the town car with the 30 min. grocery stop. What would be the best way to go get a case of water, some soda, and milk? Kind of hard to carry back walking or on the bus. Anyone ever take a cab from MK area to a grocery store?

Hey Hersey - Bunchkin has an extra ticket. :rotfl2:

Bunchkin ~ do you want me to spend a day with you holding a little hand? :cloud9: If so....DMM has my cell #. If you freak out - call me. I'm really quite good at it all. :) Where are you staying? When she said she would be next door to you, I figured I must be next door to you too at ASMu.

ok....so now my friend writes me to tell me that no, I can not take Purell because they still wont take gels! :rotfl: oh boy. she's worried about her hair mousse. Guess I could spend 50 cents there in the gift shop and buy some? :teeth:

RosePrincess: I never thought of maybe winning a prize! :cheer2: Good idea! :woohoo:

Tiggerrn2 We had lunch at Coral reef not dinner. We were there May '05 we liked it. We didn't make it back this past May. We bought milk and water from the little grocery in WL they had loaf of bread, juice and soda.

To everyone who is going I hope to see you all, at least for a few minutes :thumbsup2

We'll be thinking of all of you sweating in the heat standing in lllong lines at the parks. Having to decide what to eat next mickey bar or mickey crispies treat or even dole whip. Feel sorry for us yet? :teeth: Have a fun and safe trip take lots of pictures. :mickeybar

saschab :welcome: Come by and chat anytime As you can see a lot of us are returning to the motherland and abandoning the rest of us. Just kidding :teeth:

Tiggerrn2 Next trip we are going to do Cp. You could always go to Coral reef for dessert if you want to swim/sit with the fisheys.

Ok I got to go before one of you thinks your luggage is usually heavy. :rotfl: Donna care to stow away with me? We can leave Mark and Alex we will tell them we are going to see Mickey/D's (mickey mouse and donald duck)

Good Morning

wow i'm sooooooooooooooo jealous. So many of you already there or leaving the next day or so.

I have 176 days ADR's are set (since I am going for spring break and it will be crazy) and for the first time...We are going to eat at Cinderella's castle!! :cheer2:

DD was so excited she grabbed her Cinderella Dress and said ok lets go :cloud9: .
It was tough trying to explain to her we had 6 more months.

What a weekend, we discovered The Littlered School House Nature Trail on Saturday. We made it to the start of the longer trail and it downpoured. We were soaked to the bone. Made it back to the car, lucky had some blankets and some sweatshirts. My grandma lives near by so we went over there and used her dryer. :bitelip:

Sunday was such a great day so we decided to try the trail again. What a wonderful walk. We saw about 10 bull frogs, 4 turtles, a few snakes (DS is the next Steve Irwin) and about 100 goldfish is one of the ponds. Lots of wild flowers so it was really fun. :flower1:

saschab :welcome:

Well I should get going. Have fun on your trip if you are "going home"
Say hi to my main mouse :mickeyjum for me.

Have a great day all

LOL! :rotfl2: I'm so *there*!!!! Doesn't it seem like, oh, I don't know, FOREVER, since WE were at the Motherland???? I am beyond jealous of all of you going this week!!! But, I hope you ALL have incredibly magical vacations, and come back and share your stories and your pictures with all of us left here to hold down the Chicago fort!!!

Happy Tuesday, everybody! :)

Welcome, saschab :welcome:

Bye to all of you going

Oh joy, I get to go to a health and growth class pre-screening meeting (s*x- Ed. ) meeting for the parents tonight :earseek:

Have a good day, everyone!

I'm so jealous of all of you visiting the motherland soon (or now).

I just got e-mail from Disney with their new promo and telling about their website, etc...

I want to go! Waahhh!!! Can I win the lottery? That would help immensely with being able to go. :wizard:

Instead I will be here holding down the fort with the others that aren't going.

And forking my money over to gymnastics & the schools for field trips and things at the moment. :lmao:

Hi Becky :wave2:
I just got the Disney Year of a Million Dreams email last night, too!
Maybe we both should buy a lottery ticket! No $$ here, either.

Oh btw, did you figure out what Cub Scout requirements you were doing for hte nutrition part for the badges? You had mentioned last week about you had to find a place to do hte nutrition and health requirements for your son's Den?

Thanks all for your opinions. I cancelled Coral Reef and have a ADR for CP for 8AM on a nonEMH day for us. So we'll enter the park before it opens. That's always fun.
Busy day today. I'll come back to chat tonight. Have a great day!! :sunny:

Sounds like a plan! I just now was perusing (sp??) the WDW website and got myself all depressed :sad2: so decided I had better quit that for a while. We need a gazillion dollars to go being a larger family (along with DH liking to be spoiled on vacations -- last time we did Premium & he also said "next time we go I want to stay at that Red Roof resort we saw across the way. In other words the Grand Floridian. :rotfl: He would be happy to not even visit the parks. He just wants to go fishing next time :confused3 :rotfl: ).

Anyway, I did mean to come back & update about the Cub Scouts. I called Delnor Health & Wellness center. I had somewhat given up on hearing back from that but finally did get a call. I'm happy they forwarded my information because when I first called the receptionist didn't know, put me through to a person trainer that sometimes does tours & then I ended up with a call back from someon totally different. :rotfl:

The *best* part was the person I spoke with knew exactly which badge we were working on & she is going to cover the alcohol, tobacco, drugs part along with a bit of nutrition and then give us a tour of the place. I'm so excited. I also set up a tour with Meijers & the Delnor person said she had heard good things about that tour. So, basically with those two tours we knock out the Fitness Activity badge needed to get the Webelos badge. I do need to see if I can change a date because I scheduled the Delnor one for the first day of Hannukah (sp?) -- she couldn't do it on our regular meeting night unless it was extremely late and we didn't think that was a good thing to do on a school night, so I just said "the next Saturday". It wasn't until I told the Den leader pointed that out. Oops! So we are going to see if we can get it changed to the previous Saturday but so far no call back. Otherwise we will leave it and hope it doesn't affect too many of our Scouts (we don't know if it will or not but just trying to avoid possible conflicts).

I just know it's always a cram session to try to get the badges done by the Blue and Gold which is in February. This year we seem to be smooth sailing on it though (so far anyway according to what I've seen listed for den meetings), last night the boys went to the City Hall & lead the Pledge of Allegience to work on the Citizen badge. Basically most of this year is field trip type of events that cover most of what they need. They will be going to Fermilab to do the Engineer badge (although they are also going to Fermilab this week as a field trip with their school, so that's going to be interesting -- I hope they are doing 2 different types of tours!)
