I can happily say.......
(thanks to my DIS friend Wally)
I have my packing almost done, and the only thing I have to do today is pack our carry-on bags, which is sometimes the most challenging. The carry-ons are basically the girls entertainment bags, and naturally they want to take everything
Then after that I'm going to do some house cleaning, and then we are ready to go!!! I don't leave until tomorrow at approx 12 noon, so I will be posting one more time before I leave.
Thanks for all your thoughts about my Katie
She has had so many problems in her little life, it's just not fair

Even the nurse yesterday commented on how thick her file is

(in a nice way, we've known this nurse since the girls were born) I keep telling myself that I"m going to be the best Grandma someday, because the girls have had so many problems and sicknesses. I will be a wealth of knowledge!!!
jedi_librarian - I've been racking my brain with trying to think of different ways to change her diet

. I guess I will have to take each meal one by one.
Princess Mindy - I'm hoping it will still be magical (fingers crossed). At least she's not sick. When we went 3 years ago, when she was 13 months old, she was sick with a virus. I'm just glad we have the
free dining, because there's going to be alot of meals that she's not going to eat, and I'm glad I don't have to pay for them.
eeyore45 - she can have fruit and veggies, but she won't eat them

I've even put sugar on strawberries for her, and she still won't eat them. She's
very difficult in the eating dept. I'm hoping she'll conform her ways within the next couple of months (fingers crossed).
HERSEY - She's going to have such a hard time giving up cheese. My doctor told me to throw it away so she doesn't even see it. Stephanie than said to her, "Well, I like it!!!!

" and the doctor told her that she needs to think of her sister and help her so she gets better. Than Stephanie said, "Okay, I can do that

" Stephanie loves her sister!!!
macraven - pretty soon we'll be in shorts again!!!
Bunchkin - Good to see you!! You've been missed
paintnolish - Stephanie just branched out in her eating too

If Katie follows in her path, she has 5 years to go. Wish me luck that it doesn't take that long.
Tiggerrn2 - I'll have to get some new things for her to munch on. She hasn't had Cheerios in forever - I'll have to buy some.
rmom50 - I did ask her about giving her Benefiber, and she said that I can start that after she's cleaned out. I guess she is to far gone to start that now. Her colon is so impacted that it's buldging

She may need to have extra fiber for the rest of her life because she has a "lazy colon" as the doctor called it.
To everyone else - Hi there!!!
Well, I gotta run and comb Steph's hair and give her some breakfast. Have a good day today everyone
