Good Morning!!!

Gosh, it's a little chilly this morning!!! But I like it! Another sign that Fall is approaching!!


Today I go to the hospital for an EKG. Luckily, my original cadiologist's office is allowing me to go there for it and will fax the results to my other doctor at U of C. Hopefully, the EKG will show exactly what is going on with my heart. If not, I'll have to probably wear a Holter monitor again. Either way they need to figure out what is going on with my ticker!!!


slo Birthdays are always a happy/sad time for me too with the kids! It's hard to see them get older. I can't believe Lauren will be 9 in Oct. Where did the time go??

Bunchkin rest your feet, How is your heart rhythm doing by the way?

My heart was acting up late Saturday night. And lasted a few hours. Luckily it doesn't act up like before. It's not as rapid and bothersome. It is managable. But it does need to be taken care of. I have lots of rides to go on at WDW!!

Bunchkin- hope all goes well with the EKG today. Hope you don't need to do the holter monitor again, I know that thing is a pain .
I do hope your heart and foot settles by the time you go to WDW, if not before. Some PD for you

If you need to when you go to WDW, get the GAC pass at guest services. You tell them at guest services you can't wait in lines long,b/c of your feet and heart ,just had foot surgery,etc. They should give you a GAC card without a problem. Then ask when guest services gives you the GAC, if you go into the exit of each ride or if you just move up in line with hte GAC. You have to find a CM at the exit of hte rides, to board on hte ride, or find a CM during the wait in line, so you can move up. It is well worth getting hte GAC card and it can be used for up to 4 or 5 people in your family! And the GAC is used for your whole stay at the parks!

TiggerRn, good luck on the backpack hunt!! we are waiting for the CARS windbreakers to go on sale!! DH loves them for him and one for DS that DD can wear too! but the kids one is 40$ and i just can't justify the price on a windbreaker i've tried to justify it though! hahah!!

Bunchkin! I hope you get some good results from your EKG, at least informative results! We need you at 100% for WDW!

About the Wal*Mart thing, I heard that a Wal*Mart Supercenter IS going up on 30 just about a mile east of the New Lenox train station. I also heard there's one scheduled for either LaGrange Road or 191st Street in Mokena. I got some "in the know" type friends that I ride the train with in the morning and they said the New Lenox Wal*Mart was a go?? Who knows, right?? I'll believe it when I see it. I'm not a big Wal*Mart fan per se because it always hurts the little guys when it comes to town and they aren't always very good to their employees, but there are time you need to go there ya know! I had to shop there for Megan's baby formula and diapers. I was on a leave of absence at the time and money was a wee bit tighter.

That S3X cake does sound good! I could use that about week before my good friend FLO comes to town!

Megan starts school this week at Haines and I know she's so nervous! She keeps telling me she's scared. I just keep trying to reassure her that all the kids will be scared and nervous. Megan is just such a homebody type kid, not real adventurous, but does love to have fun. She likes fast rides though too and I was really shocked by that! BTMRR is her favorite!

THanks and to everyone else that commented too! it's hard, i really miss not seeing my grandma as much as i would like. I can't wait to see her again! hopefully it's soon! but as though that were not enough, my mom leave tomorrow and i already said good bye to her too i hope she is careful and knows how much we miss her!!

Good Morning All

Katie (one day late)

This is my first day off since I got home Stacey just got home last night from Naperville and she is still sleeping.

Our trip was the classic Good, Bad and Ugly

The good--Stacey, Bonnie and I had lots of fun

Stacey got to meet her 2 favorite characters

You should have seen how fast she ran when she saw Figmant at the top of the hill

Moe's first trip

The bad--It was the first time for the family we went with mom, dad and DD11. M&D had no fun that I can recall, they didn't see any parades(because they said they had seen a 100 parades) it was to hot, to much walking, wanted to see shows not rides (when we went to see Muppets they asked me what it was and I said a show M made a face and said "OH a show") why do you want to ride a 2nd time? Why do you need a picture with Mickey, you just took one with Minnie. "No I don't want your poncho, we will just sit here and have coffee" We stayed with them for awhile then went to use our FP for Splash. Went twice because the line was short

On the way to Splash:

Whatever we did was wrong. HEADSHAKERS all the way. DD11 had a great time when she could.

Waiting for Illuminations:

This is the look they had on their faces the most of the trip.

The ugly--Poor DD11 cried at least once a day at the parks. "Yes you can stay for EMH, no you can't stay, you can stay I suppose but straight back and into bed" "You never sit by us" "M&D do you want to ride with me?" "No ride with Stacey" "You never ride with us" The last day she couldn't even be by Stacey

She did get to stay for EMH at MK

We made sure they got to ride or see everything they wanted. We gave them choices, let them pick where to eat, waited with them when they wanted to stop but whatever we did was wrong. HEADSHAKERS all the way. On the bus the start of the 2nd day they asked me "why do you always came back here, what's the point." The whole bus was crowded, standing room only.

They wanted to see Spectro but it was cancelled because of the rain, but saw Wishes. It rained about 2 hours and stopped by 830.

This was about 6:30

It also rained about 20-30 minutes earlier in the day. We went on the People Mover, they stayed by the bathrooms.

I am glad we went even if it wasn't perfect and we get to go back in 36 days

We just kept our sense of humor, after all we were in Disney

We thought about leaving them, but then it would have been us being bad and leaving them on their own. Plus we wanted to have Moe to have fun.
