Hi Everyone!!

Just thought I'd stop by and see who's doin what. And did I mention its only 38 days til our trip!! Yep, that's right, 38 days!! I would pull the luggage out and fire up the packing machine, but my folks are coming up from Florida for a visit next week and they will be in the guest room where I would normally start the packing procedures.

It's so gloomy out there and they say the weekend is going to be horrible!! I only slightly mind horrible during the week, but I hate horrible weather on the weekend! What a DRAG!!

Oh well, we weren't planning on doing much anyway! :confused3

Talk more later!!

Hi all-
Slo, Geffric, NiteOwl, and anyone else concerned about Chrissy's MRI results.
I FINALLY got the results this morning, after I ranted to Chrissy's Ped Card office that this is the 3rd time I have called this week wanting her MRI results.
The full-time office nurse that handles calling the families, etc has been home all this week due to her strained back. Anyways, the receptionist I ranted to said the nurse has the charts at her house and will call me today w/ results. I asked if they can call me as the first priority today. So I got the call from the nurse this morning and got to talk with her a few minutes. Everything looks good so far, no need for surgery this yr!!! :cool1:
The conduit in Chrissy's heart has mild to moderate leakage, but not enough to have surgery. Her blood perfusion is good. I asked the nurse if she can send me a copy of the MRI results when she has a chance. She said when she goes back to the office next week, she will copy the MRI and send the copy via mail to me. So I'm happy with hte good news! I didn't think Chrissy needed her surgery yet, since she is doing well. But good to get those results tho.
Thank you all for your prayers and PD :goodvibes

Hi to all :wave2:

Watching my shows tonight. Talk to you all later.

Carolyn will be trying out for cheerleading next week! :cheer2:

Poor girl though has a cold!!! I know she sounded pretty stuffed up when she went to school today but WOO HOO!!! I managed to get her to swallow some pills today! She has never in her life managed to get a pill down. It was Sudafed and basically not much bigger than a mini M&M but I think she had it in her head so she would gag. I had her close her eyes, got some yogurt, gave her a spoonful with no meds, then put meds in and had her swallow...I told her she just swallowed a pill. She was so happy! She had to take a 2nd one and managed to not get that down the first time but did the 2nd. She was so proud of herself. It's nearly impossible to find liquid stuff for teens -- unless they want to be taking 1/2 the bottle. ROFL OR for the chewable stuff....about 6 pills when there are only 20 in the bottle. :rotfl2:

I'm just thinking she's got the gymnastics part down but with the cold, the cheering voice may not be operating very well next week. I did buy some Zicam to see if that will hurry it along. The cold just came on kind of suddenly (or at least I didn't notice it). We will see how she feels when she gets home from school today.

since i had no one to lecture me tonight, i went to culvers at 4 and had dessert. yes eeyeore, turtle thing is the bomb.

then at 6:45, i went back to culvers and had real regular food.....

i knew i wanted the ice cream once eeeyore mentioned it yesterday.

I'm just teasing you!! ;)
You're only a few years older than Tony!

I was soooo bad on vacation......

So there we were sitting in MK taking a rest, and the sun is brighter then all heck. And I can see a TON of grey hairs in his head. I mention that he is REALLY grey. And he says "yeah, I know, right here by my temples". And I say " No dude, it's like you turned 40, your now on the other side of that "hill", and you've gone mega-grey over night!". :rotfl: I'm laughing, Lauren's laughing and what I didn't know was that a family near us was also laughing and listening in. He was soooooo MAD!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIM!!!! HAVE A TERRIFICLY, MAGICAL DAY!!

You are very, very, brave Nicole!!!!!! ::yes:: Once we hit 40(+), we're liable to become POSTAL! :rotfl2:

For the record, I have NO GREY! I'm too mousey brown/dishwater blonde to get grey, I guess. :confused3

44, I can't believe it myself. :faint: My DEAR friend, of 33 (almost 34 years) emailed me a BD wish, wanting to get together. There's comfort in numbers, sometimes. :goodvibes :grouphug:

Well, I'm off to bed.
Gotta get up early tomorrow. Too much going on!

Except now, it sounds like DH is snoring!!! GREAT!!!
Where's a rubber mallet when you need one??? :confused3

Matt is bringing me a hot dog from Gene & Jude's for lunch tho! :cool1: For dinner, the kids & I are going to Red Lobster. I have a BD coupon. :teeth: Laundry and grocery shopping will fill the rest of the day.

Get thyself some rest Nicole!

Thanks again!!! :goodvibes

Good morning everyone and TGIF!!!!! :woohoo: :yay:

Tonight is Stephanie's Fun Fair at school, and she is so excited!! :Pinkbounc I realized when I went to bed last night that I volunteered to bring something for the bake sale, so I'm going to have to do something for that today :scratchin I'm sure glad I remembered!!!

The pumpkin patch yesterday was terrible :( !!!! It was so cold, and so muddy, that IMO we just shouldn't have been there :sad2: I made Katie wear winter boots so she wouldn't ruin her shoes, and I"m so glad I did too. The boots are filthy. I wore some old gym shoes, and those are trashed!!!! It was no fun at all :sad2:

macraven - We really love Culver's too in my house!!! That turtle sundae sounds good, I never had one.

eeyore - Yes, I have noticed the darkness factor, and I hate it :guilty: It's so hard to get moving when it's still dark outside.

geffric - You are going to have so much fun at WDW :cool1: I can't believe my adults only trip is only a couple of months away - I better start making some ADR's :scratchin

Mindy - Have you ever had the donuts from that apple orchard? They are the best!!! So are their caramel apples :goodvibes

Bunchkin - I only saw one DISer at WDW, or should I say, she saw me  I didn't recogize her screen name, but she recognzied mine and Stephanie's picture from my siggie. She introduced herself and she was very nice. Outside of that, she was the only one.
**I love that story about you pointing out Tony's grey hair. Kevin and I tease each other about that all the time too. I started going grey at 22 years old, which is why I am now a red head (I am naturally a darker blonde). So, I've been a red head now for 11 years (I started dying my hair after I got married). When my roots start growing out, you wouldn't believe the amount of grey in it  . I would bet that I am easily more than 1/2 grey :guilty: Oh well, that's what hair dye is for :teeth:

Sam - Your trip is coming quick. I bet you are getting so excited!!! :cool1:

Rosemarie - I'm so glad you got good news about Chrissy's MRI and she doesn't need surgery this year - that's awesome!!!! :woohoo:

Becky - Good luck to your DD for her cheerleading tryouts :wizard: I'll also send some PD for her to feel better soon!!! :wizard:

HERSEY - Dinner sounds good from last night!!

Well, I'm off and running - have a good Friday today everyone!!!
