Good morning and thanks everyone for the anniversary wishes! We went out to dinner last night at the place where we had our wedding reception all those many years ago (it's kind of a tradition to go there on our anniversary). As usual, it was really nice and the food was great!

SLO...prayers for a good biopsy result today.

NITEOWL...I hope you can get some rest today. I also meant to comment before on the picture of your "Baby"!!! Too cute!!!

BUNCHKIN...yep, Hersey and I were kind of the procrastinator packers, weren't we?? You guys are so organized! How did Hunter do with preschool? And, how is Lauren doing at school? I hope she has had no more trouble.

Good Morning All

I am so tired today, I worked 13 hours yesterday The major thngs were working ok but some minor ones need fixing. The only good thing is that we are all in it together We have trainers in RX and front they stay from opening to close. It's just funny to see big groups of us following then around

BunchkinI have one suitcase like that also. I am going to pack differently this time. Last month one of our friends suitcases was left in Chicago and since we were the last fight of the day it didn't come for about 24 hours. I am packing all our clothes in a carry on and all the banned things in a check on. Bonnie is taking all our costumes on the plane (she made them)


I will be there also



I really like that, I could use that on somedays.

I go to work today at 3pm at least we close at 10pm and I can't work much later

Happy Thursday everyone! Another shiny one out there... too bad the weekend looks yucky! Might have to see a show or something on Saturday.

Slo: I am keeping good thoughts for you on your biopsy. I'm sure that no matter what, you'll be just fine! You have had some hard days lately! Let's hope things swing back to happier days!! Staying at the Poly! Now that's one of my dream resorts! I'd love to stay there someday.

Bunchkin: Staying at POR huh? I stayed at POFQ last February, only for one night though and didn't have time to really look around. POR looked huge when we made multiple bus stops there! I think there are four!!

Mookie: My daughter had acid reflux too. It was horrible, but it seemed like magically somewhere around four months, bam, it was over and she was (and still is) the best most even tempered kid I know.


Our morning was a little less dramatic today! It is picture day and Megan was very excited about that. We both got haircuts last night and I must say it was great having only a five minute hairdo this morning. I was so sick of my hair and today I love it! Megan's looked perfect! I sent her to school with her Belle brush in her backpack and told her to smile pretty!

So, hey, I got no feedback on my "sign" photo idea for WDW. So either no one cares, or y'all think its a bad idea! HA!!

Thank goodness I missed page 666. Someone mentioned the Passporter. I looked at the Disneyland version at our local Barnes & Noble, and now have the 2007 WDW Passporter on my wishlist! Very cool concept. I saw there's also a treasure hunt addition, which might be a nice thing for my 8 y.o. nephew next year.

a quick DIS before I head back to work.. Geoff has a cross country meet today and their tradition is to have pasta the night before a meet. So he got home from school at 5:30 pm and told me he was going to Olive Garden at 7 pm. Eric was "I wanna go to Olive garden too 'cause they have the all you can eat pasta bowl for $7.95" Well I made dinner, but oh well.. put that away for tonight and off to OG we went.

Anyway before we went Geoff has been participanting in a New Dimensions study on shampoo. He gets to take home a different shampoo each week and fill in a questionare about it . He does this for 4 weeks and gets $100.

They are looking for men to do a study too. DH is signed up for one that is a take home antipesperant and he gets $175. If you know of anybody that is interested in this.. call new dimensions in rolling meadows at 847-364-5529.

They get surplus items from Disney. Some big (like the monorail and ride vehicles) and some small (like merchandise). Some of it is for sale. They have a little bit on ebay, but apparently there's a huge amount at their warehouse, and a lot of the merchandise is 75% off! I really want to go there!

Plus, they have a lot of stuff that isn't for sale, but it's there for display, like a museum.

I wonder if I can swing a side trip over there sometime....

I've heard of mouse surplus, but I've never been. There's always something cool being brought in there. I heard on a podcast this morning that the "fastest fingers" seats from Who Wants To Be a Millionaire will be there soon!

slo & Donna Hunter's 1st day of preschool was really short as it was more of a meet and greet. He is looking forward to his first real day tomorrow!!

And Lauren hasn't had any more problems since the necklace stolen issues last week. She seems to have rebounded from it fine.

i have meniere's disease and have horrible vertigo now ..........

have not been able to be on the computer but for a brief time. i think 10 minutes has been the most i have sat up each time today and late last night.


i know some blondes (like me) are dizzy, but come on........i'm too dizzy to sit in a chair at this point. can't drive, can't walk......

the meds usually take effect by 48 hours and make my head stop spinning.
i'm glad i am having my episode now and not the day before the trip to the motherland.....had my last episode 25 months ago so i should be fine for the trip.


if any one out there has this dsease or knows more on other treatments, give me a heads up please. right now it's just meds (ativan) every 8 hours.

mac-I don't have Meniere's, but I have a constant rushing noise in my left ear. No dizziness, though. Do you have ringing?

Leigh-I have seen mouse surplus online. I need the Snow White ride car for in front of my t.v. Could you imagine sitting in there while channel surfing?!?
Slo- I hope everything went okay at the dr!

Today's weather was gorgeous! I met Michele and her dd at Panera this morning. Darn school. I had to rush dd back for the bus, though! Not enough time for all our chatting! I came back, went to the gym, then went to school. My teacher was so friendly and funny! He seems like a genuinly nice person. I think this will be a great class. Now I'm dising, although I should be reading for school!
