Chicago airport

For those of you in the Chicago area..How do you get to the airport? We usually have friends drive us, but this time we are leaving too early to expect them to help out. (flight is at 6:45 am)
Please let me know if any limo, towncar or taxi service is better.

We have had a couple early morning flights and we have taken a taxi. Flat rates to the airports. If i remember correctly it cost us $25 one way to ohare and we live in the northwest suburbs so not bad considering the cost of a towncar would have been $65 one way because the flight was early in the morning.

We have used American Taxi. Good, dependable and rather inexpensive. We live in southwest suburbs. They have a web site with rates listed from city you live in to either ORD or MDW. www.americantaxi.com

I have rented a car for one day.the rental was about $19.99 for a total of $24.00. This was cheaper than parking and I had a car rental waiting foe us upon return. We where gone for 2 weeks.The two rentals was under $50.
