Chi or Instyler for new hair styler?

I have decided to buy a CHI flat iron for my hair and a friend told me about the Instyler. Does anyone have an opinion on which they like better?

My hair couldn't get any straighter but my friend SWEARS by her Chi. She used it in front of me a few times, and that thing looks like a miracle. Hope you get some good advice!

just bought the black chi flat iron at Costco for $60. I hope it works. I'll find out tonight. I also bought the chi sild infusion. does anyone know if i use before i dry my hair or once its dry aand before i iron it with iron? Just says put in hair and style.

anyone know of a good inex*****ive heat treat stuff to use? I really need something before i damage it

Use the Chi hair oil on wet hair first and then after you are done flat ironing it use a small amount to smooth the fly aways.

I just bought my chi 2 weeks gao after having a cheap $30 straightener for a year adn i love the chi. My hair is extremely curly and it only takes one time thourgh eith the chi unlike anything else ive used where after 3 times through i coul dnever get it straight.

For the heat protector, I use a spray called matrix essentials sleek look.
I think it works pretty well but i can be picky b/c im allergic to most of these products so i use what i can find

My hairdresser recommended a straightener by HOT TOOLS. I purchased it at Harmons's and used a 20% coupon that came in the mail. My daughter loves it. She had a Conair one that stopped working. She says the HOT TOOLS one works sooooo much better than the other one.
