Hi,
Sorry but another question..

Do the rooms have wardrobes? I can't make out from the photos I've seen & are any ice buckets & ice available (I know we're going in December but it would be to keep milk cold)

thanks again

There is a clothes rail opposite the bathroom in every room, with hangers.

I don't know about ice buckets or ice machine, sorry.

We've just stayed at Hotel new York and there was a small Ice Bucket in the room and along the landing there was a room next to the lifts that had an Ice Machine to fill the bucket which we did every night (needed a few trips to fill the sink) to keep Milk, Beer and Pop Cold.

Never had an ice bucket any of the times we have stayed at the Cheyenne - maybe I am cool enough already? :D

the ice bucket in sequoia lodge looked like a biscuit barrel!

Sequoia had a ice room along the corridor but that room gave me the creeps, as did the corridors, we just needed a child pedalling up them then it would have fitted in quite well with halloween!

So how is the "hip" dad, and mum and baby getting along ?

There are ice buckets in Sequoia Lodge definately, but I don't recall having one at Cheyenne or Santa Fe.

Very well thank you. Lucas is getting over a viral infection but is as smiley as ever :goodvibes

This thread has made me think about considerations I'd have to think about when taking Lucas and if I'd need anything extra in the room!? To think I couldn't stay in Cheyenne would be awful!!

The Cheyenne doesn't have ice buckets if I recall correctly, however just pop into the bar & ask for them to give you some ice. We did & they filled a couple of beer glasses for us.

Definitely no icebucket or ice machine in the Cheyenne as of 2 days ago! Cold water in the sink would probably do the job though, even without ice. Or take a flask?

There is an ice machine. As of 4 days ago it's in the laundry room. No ice buckets though. I filled a carrier bag up.

Ah, see I never do laundry on holiday, that's why I didn't notice the laundry room :)

:thumbsup2 Great thanks for the info about ice. I can always fill a carrier bag then empty it into the sink to keep the milk in.

Yep ice machine in the laundry room we popped in sept06 as we fancied a bit of chocolate from the vending machine ,ended up have an ice fight(adults only holiday) it was also still there when we went in January no ice fight then though kids with us.

What they lack in size they more than make up for in required equipment. :rotfl:
Bet you can't wait to take Lucas, the Cheyenne is fab for boys, big and small, OH has asked if we can stay there again next visit.

Hope Lucas is back to full health by now. :goodvibes
