What do you think of it?

I went on it last trip, and ended up having alot of fun

I love it! The crowning touch would be alligator wrestling.....:D

We loved it but it reminded us of California Adventure..same colors etc..

I have always HATED these cheesy game areas in theme parks, especially Disney parks, whom I always thought to be well above such trash.

BUT... given the theme of DinoLand, I think it's great! I really think the DinoLand theme is one of the most creative in all of Disney World. I still don't play the games, but I like walking around and seeing all the themed details. And I LOVE Primeval (sp?) Whirl!

I love it! I know know what Mom is talking about when she mentions the roadside attractions that she stopped at when she was little. Sure, their is no Bubba the 2 headed snake, but this is cool.

I am not one to speak ill of Disney (generally I like anything with the Disney name on it), but I really think that the arcade games are CHEESY! You've already paid a week's salary to get your family into the park..... now their finding new ways to separate you from your money! That being said, my kids really like that area. But I think a better explaination as you enter the area is needed. The first time we walked in I thought I took a wrong turn and ended up at the local summer carnival! Once I understood the premise of the place, I thought it was okay (just okay, not great!). But really, I think that Disney could have done something better with that space. The rides are fine, but the cheesy, trashy "carn-y" type things I can do without..............P

Not a fan. Even DH, who doesn't care about Disney one way or another, said it looked out of place. (He called it Walt's ode to carnivals - I freaked out and told him WALT never would have done that!)

I think the rides like Primeval Whirl, Triceratop Spin. etc,. look like fun, but I don't think the carnival stalls suit a Disney park at all. Apart from it looking tacky, I find that area really ugly with all the concrete and garish colours, especially after the lushness of the rest of the park.

I think it is out of place at AK but that's just me, I guess

I've just read this on a site called "All Info About Florida":

It all started with Chester & Hester's Dinosaur Treasures, a gaudy gift shop stuffed to the rafters with every kind of toy, trinket and T-shirt imaginable to meet the demand of souvenir hunters passing by along U.S. Route 498. Sporting an opportunity for more excitement, the eccentric entrepreneurs of DinoLand U.S.A. -- the fictional Chester and Hester -- added the old-fashioned carnival of bright string lights, amusing attractions, and classic pop tunes.

I couldn't have said it better myself..... you read my mind!.........P

My ds loves that ride. I think I rode it atleast 10 times on our last trip. My dd didn't like it at first, but fell in love with the jerks and pulls of the ride. That side of AK always reminds me of the Flintstones.
