Print out what nativetxn wrote and have him read it. I agree he needs to have it checked out. About 3 months ago my husband was having some of these same pains, he finally agreed to get checked out. Thank God it wasn't his heart but without getting checked we would of never known. The medical staff let him know how important it is to NEVER ignore these kinds of pains and to always have it checked out. it could be gas pains the first time doesn't mean it will be the next time it happens.Originally posted by nativetxn
My husband's indigestion was not in his chest either, it was beneath his sternum.
My husband had an uncle who died suddenly at age 37. His wife blamed herself for his death (she was an RN) because he complained of indigestion and back pain for several days before he died and she never made the connection with his heart. He left 3 children under the age of 6 years old. Very sad
I hope your husband will use some common sense and get checked out. It wouldn't take all that much time. If it was gas then what a relief. If it is actually a heart attack, he could be saving his own life.
