Help, we are clueless:( We just purchased & installed an oval 4 ft 24ft wide pool. Where do we start when it comes to chemicals? We have chlorine tablets floating in it now. Any advice is welcomed. Thanks in advance!!

some of that anti acid stuff....plus something to do the ph and alklalin stuff too....go to a pool company and ask what you need to do and the test strips too.......we have had good luck with ours....and this is the second year with it.....Have fun and just keep the filter running a few hours here and there and use it

Don't forget stabilizer. When you get the chlorine and ph at the right levels you need to add stabilizer. Check your chemicals at least once a day. We use the liquid test kits. Very easy to use. Just fill with pool water and add 5 drops of the chlorine tester and on the other side 5 drops of the ph tester. Takes maybe 2 minutes. WHen it's very hot and sunny out, the chlorine is used up faster so you might want to test also in the afternoon.
