Karen: she turned as Dawn left wanting to follow. But as the door closed she turned back to Caroline looking down.

Caroline: "hey" she said warmly "you don't have to be afraid of me."

Karen: "oh, I-I'm not afraid of you. I just-"

Caroline: "it's fine. Dawn's started thinking of me as a mom, if you want to you can do the same."

Karen: she nodded and looked up at her slowly "thank you. I'm sure I will eventually, but I think it's going to take some time. I'm not used to having a family."

Caroline: "that's fine honey, you can think of me however you want." she hugged her.

Karen: she hugged her back "okay. I love you. Thank you for everything you're doing for us."

Caroline: she smiled "I love you too, and you're welcome." she took her hand and walked out of the room.
