Chris: he rubbed his hands on an apron he wore around his waist, he had been cooking. "it's nice to meet you. You're the one that's kept my daughter out the past couple of nights right?"

Instead a van pulled up and a boy in an army uniform got out of the back seat a bag slung over his shoulder. Jaycee's eyes lit up seeing her brother. She didn't know he was returning home today.
