Dawn: She smiled and continued to pick flowers. "We should spend the night here some time."

Marina: She chuckled. "Nice." She looked at Jordan, wondering if he would tell David.

Jordan: he made eye contact with Marina and quickly looked down.

David: "Jordan, we've known each other for twelve years. Do you really think I can't tell when something is going on?"

Jordan: "no."

David: "so what is it?"

Jordan: "I-um, I-" he said quietly trying to find the right way to say it.

Do you really think I can't tell when something is going on?" Jordan: "no." David: "so what is it?" Jordan: "I-um, I-" he said quietly trying to find the right way to say it.

Marina: She frowned. "It's okay, Jordan, just tell him."

David: he raised his eyebrows wondering what was coming.

Jordan: he took a breath and swallowed. "I got diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder yesterday."

David: "what? Are you okay?"

Jordan: "I will be, it's a lot to take in right now."

David: "how does that affect you?"

Jordan: "just that I have trouble focusing, and relating to some things, I might get flashbacks and nightmares, and have panic attacks."

David: "you don't have panic attacks."

Jordan: "yeah, I do actually. Since I've gotten back I've had a few."

David: "oh. I didn't know."

Jordan: "no one does."

Marina: "He's just nervous right now." She leaned in and whispered into David's ear "last night Dawn texted me and told me he was sobbing and was scared and made sure she kept holding him and didn't let him go."

Jordan: he kept his eyes locked on the floor while Marina whispered. He didn't know what she was saying, but he could guess.

David: he listened and his eyes widened "oh" he mumbled, his stomach sank. He looked at Jordan, it was weird thinking of him being scared at all, let alone that scared. "are you okay?" he asked kindly.

Jordan: "not really. I'm scared of what this whole thing means, of how it's going to affect me. Of when, and where my next panic attack is going to happen. Of the fact that I can't sleep peacefully without the help of meds. Of this never going away, of living in constant fear, I always think something bad is going to happen, I can't focus on school. I don't know who I should tell, I don't know who's going to find out, of who will stop having a relationship with me because of it. It's just too much" he said telling everything.

David: he listened. He moved next to him and put his hand on his back "it's going to be okay, everything will be alright. You have friends who will help you through each thing, and if they don't stick by you, then they aren't your real friends."

Jordan: he nodded.
