Chelsea: she smiled too "Boy, am I glad to see you. I don't know how much longer I could handle Joey."



Ben: "Well we're not really doing anything. Joey's just pouting because Cat left."

Flynn: "I know. Family. It's like it's always a hassle to get the different pieces of the family together for holidays, but someone almost dies and suddenly all your relatives are begging to spend a minute with you, even those from out of state."

OOC: So I think I will go with the Josephine Martin being an actual person idea. So here's a Kennedy update for you!

Kennedy: Life at the mental hospital was horrible. Either they were cloying or talked down to her or were telling her that she was a teenager now and it was time to grow up and start acting like an adult. Like she didn't already. She was thirteen, and was living - had lived, she reminded herself with a frown, Gran's death hit hard - with an elderly woman who hadn't always been able to do everything on her own. And gosh darn it she wasn't six years old anymore! Yes she secretly watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but that was a perfectly valid TV show, with real storylines and plots and multifaceted characters and villains. The nurse had been talking about toys! But she would be able to deal with the belittlement if that was it. But it wasn't. There was a strict dress code for "patients" - she thought of herself more like an inmate - so it was like she was wearing pajamas or scrubs all the time. And there was a strict meal plan, which meant she had to attend every meal and ate what they gave her, even if she hated it. And they were forcing her to take medications, which made her head hurt and feel drowsy, which didn't help her studying - she had to keep up with school after all - and it was harming her connections with Josephine and Elsa. Elsa was fading fast, it was really affecting her, Kennedy didn't want to see her go but it was beginning to get more difficult, especially since they upped the dose. And Josephine. Poor Josephine. Her friend had been with her through thick and thin, her only friend, even when everyone thinks she's dead. But Kennedy knew her friend was alive and healthy and by her side. After all, Josephine had promised. After Kennedy's parents - she hated calling them that, she liked to think their relationship was merely biological - had abandoned her with Gran, Josephine had promised she wouldn't be horrible, terrible scum and she wouldn't leave her. She had promised. It made Kennedy feel secure. But every minute here deepened and widened the gap that was growing between them. Only once had Kennedy been more afraid in her life, and that was in Chemical Alley, when she'd been kidnapped.

Flynn: "It's been good, kind of strange too. AJ seems stuck between college student mode and big bad overprotective older brother mode. Robert's glad to have me back, but he's awkward. Sadie's glad to have me back too, so she's super cheerful all the time. I've been keeping tabs on Blake, he's doing okay."
