We went this afternoon, when I picked Chelsea up from school, the headteacher pointed out chelsea's right hip and how she had been walking funny on it etc, so when we went to booth hall we was asked to get a x-ray and we did, then we saw the DR who basically said he will observe her right hip but cannot see any problems in it as of yet, but said it would more than likely spread to the other hip, and he pointed out that when chelsea does overcome this, she may get it again.
Her walk is due to one leg being 1cm longer than the other
but this is common with Perthes Children and he doesnt see a major problem with it as of yet, the left hip has totally collapsed and is now in the healing stage the hip was still a mess to my eyes, the balljoint was one big white cloud and looked very stiff, he said she had good movement in her legs but her rotation was very poor but didnt want to do anything yet as it is still healing.
Overall it's just waiting and seeing like usual.
He said he's glad she has no pain and still keep any eye on certain things she does, and if she complains about pain to bring her in, etc...
So next app now is 17th jan 05 , so I suppose it's good new, also good news Martyns van flew through M.O.T today which we thought may of been a disaster and mercedes parts are expensive but it wasnt...woohoo!! so 2 bits of positive news.
Got Chelsea's Parents evening tommorow!! wonder how she has been at school LOL, she looks nevous!! hehe kids!
