Should I keep this OR continue stalking the sight for Coral Reef? We have a lunch ADR for Le Cellier :thumbsup2 & we would love to get a dinner ADR for Coral Reef. I was able to get Chefs yesterday while "stalking" the site. Any reviews would be great!

Thanks :)

I personally LOVE Chef de France and am going in December for my birthday trip. I never thought I would like French food but was surprised by how yummy it was. I would look at the menu and make sure that there are things that you would eat and then stick with it. If you want Coral Reef then by all means keep looking but IMO you have a great back up just incase!

I think Chefs de is the best bet. More expensive but best food/experience of the choices you offered.

Thanks for the quick responses :) Both look great but you hear a ton about Coral Reef & not so much about Chefs. I think we will stick with it & give it a try :) :thumbsup2

The week of July 20, we went to both Chef's and Coral Reef for lunch. This was our second time at Chef's and our first at Coral Reef. (We used to get CS for lunch and have been making ADRs for both lunches and dinners since getting the TIW card!)

Anyway, I definitely vote for Chef's!!! We love the food and our boys love seeing Remy. Even without Remy, I would still vote for Chef's. The light, bright, airy atmosphere is wonderful, and we've enjoyed our table by the window both times. The service is always great, Remy's "handler" has been so friendly, and again, we really enjoy the food. The quiche was particularly good (my husband ordered it last time), and so was the french onion soup (my husband and older son ordered that both times.) We've also ordered the mac and cheese before, and enjoyed that. I liked the cheese plate and the bread (although I'll admit the cheeses were pretty basic - swiss, brie, goat and something like a munster - but all very good and perfect for lunch on a summer day!) Our middle son really enjoys the mini burgers on the menu, too.

We also liked Coral Reef - very cool restaurant inside and the tank is a great feature. The food was good - my husband enjoyed his chicken and I had the beet salad and the corn chowder. Our boys had the corn chowder and meaty macaroni. We all really enjoyed the corn chowder, and the boys loved the make-your-own-sundae. But I thought the beet salad was good but not great, and our boys really disliked the meaty macaroni. (Lots of onions and a weak sauce.) All in all, we would return if it fit the schedule, but would not go out of our way.

As we are planning for our February 2011 schedule, we didn't fit Coral Reef in. And that's fine. But Chef's is at the top of the list for lunch, and we're making an ADR for our very first day!

Sorry for hijacking but is Remy still at Chefs? Chefs was the surprise hit for us last year. We loved it and Remy.

My family did not like their food at Coral Reef last year. (Although my chicken caesar salad was good).

Chefs is delicious.

I would pick Chefs over Coral Reef for sure!
