Hi everyone! We're thinking of trying a new restaurant for our trip and may be considering Chefs de France. Can anyone give me their opinion on how the food is and if it's worth going to for a dinner one evening?

Thank you!!

thank you! it sounds good enough - it can't hurt to try it, it may end up being our favorite, it may not.. but if we don't try, we'll never know so when the time comes i'll make an ADR and go from there.

thanks again for the review! :goodvibes

Chefs is one of the best restaurants in Epcot. Some folks (me included) rate it higher than the perennial favorite, Le Cellier.

I loved it and so did my DH and our daughter. We actually liked it far better than Le Cellier

We have only eaten there for lunch- but we are trying dinner in June. We really enjoyed it last year.

Another vote for liking it more than Le Cellier. It was our favorite meal of the trip! We made our ADRs for 7:50pm and got to eat our dessert while watching Illuminations through their front windows. It was a perfect ending to our trip!

Add us to this list. We love Chefs! IMHO, it's very underrated. Though, I'm not complaining. That makes it easier to get an ADR.

Even though the food tasted good here, there was a practice of the servers that bothered me extremely.

Our table was fairly close to the restaurant entrance and was next to an aisle where persons entering the restaurant walked in. Time after time, the servers who waited the tables all around us would bring the trays of food and set them on a little stand until they got ready to place the food on the various tables. (which I of course have seen in restaurants before)

The difference however was that the trays of food would stay on this stand for at least 7 to 8 minutes while persons continually walked right by and stood over the stand, while trying to get seated or when they were leaving the restaurant.

I could not believe the servers placed the trays in such a busy spot heavily traveled by all.....I really don't care for people breathing, sneezing, and coughing over my food.

We love Chefs....again another that likes it better than le Cellier! This is a not to be missed on our vacations.
