Can anyone tell me what kind of portion sizes they server at Chefs de france. My husband is a 260 pound body builder and thinks that he will leave hungry cause it is a fancy restaurant and they will server tiny portions.

It's not a fancy restaurant. Victoria & Albert's is a fancy restaurant. Chefs de France is not.

The portions are about average in size. We always enjoy our meals there...however, I would not consider Chefs a fancy restaurant. It has more of a busy cafe type of atmosphere.

Chefs de France is not, repeat...NOT a fancy French restaurant, lol. The portions are plenty good-sized. Most of the foods served there would be more like what you'd get in the French version of the neighborhood diner or cafe. It's "downhome" food, French style. The "fancy" French restaurant there is upstairs, the Bistro.

But at Chefs, you'll see dishes like beef tips & noodles...and mac & cheese...and rotisserie chicken. They start your meal with a french-bread roll, and many of the entrees come with some sort of sides like veggies and/or potatoes. The ones that don't are bigger entrees with pasta like the beef tips/noodles and the mac & cheese. The two adults who had those dishes could not finish them...

We've eaten there a couple of times and never went away hungry (not skinny folks, neither.)

I'll find some pics & post them

Thank you I would appreciate any pictures and will pass the message on to my husband that this is not a fancy restaurant LOL.

Don't know if you're interested in some of the appetizers or not, so I did include these pics
This is lobster bisque - top bowl, and the bottom bowl is French onion soup with cheese. That's the french-bread style hot roll they serve whether or not you're getting appetizers.

“croustillant feuillantine, douceur au chocolat, glace noix de coco, tartare de banane”– a chocolate mousse with chunks of “cake” – more like a crispy wafer cookie…also had the rum-soaked bananas in it. And the scoop of ice cream was homemade coconut,

It's a very pretty restaurant, but really would compare the food to more "down-home" than fancy...they present the food attractively on the plate, but it's just not the ultra-fancy French foods.

The portions leave me stuffed! I'm a competitive swimmer so I'm hungry almost constantly!

He might. I am 300 now and compete at 280. FYI, let him know the food there is high fat, high carb. The protein portions are smaller than the carb portions.
