I can't decide. Thoughts please :)

I should specify more. Chefs de France for dinner? Or Coral Reef for lunch? I have to cancel one.

Thanks!

Amy

I've eaten at neither; however, I've been really doing my research, and the overwhelming majority of Coral Reef diners seem to agree they wouldn't go back. But the overwhelming majority of Chefs de France agree that they WOULD go back.

I've been to both. I liked the food better at Chefs de France, however I enjoyed the atmosphere at Coral Reef more than at Chefs. I thought the food was good too, but it was just better at Chefs. Also, I had totally messed up my reservation for the night we had gone to Chefs de France (and this was during Free dining) and they were so nice and gave us a table right away.

while I am a fan of the coral reef I recently ate at Chefs De France and it is now my favorite place to eat in Epcot. The food was just better at Chefs and so was the service. I really suggest Chefs.

Sign my personal opinion on the two for the opposite of this. I though Chefs was alright. Nothing I'd go out of my way to eat. I've never had a bad meal at Coral Reef, though. Love the food there for lunch and dinner.

That's so funny. We had ADRs for Chefs De France for lunch and Coral Reef for dinner. We decided to get rid of Coral Reef because we had eaten there a couple of times and just decided that we wanted to try something different for a change. We have only had Coral Reef for dinner and we do like the food and the ambiance. We have done Chefs for dinner a long time ago but have never gone for lunch, the only reason why we kept Chefs is that my DH and I both loved the menu of Chefs plus we got a 12:00pm ADR in hopes to see Remy (my kids just love that movie). So instead of Coral Reef we are going to Tuto Italia (DH suggested it).

We had a great lunch experience at Chefs de France this week. The food was excellent and reasonable (for WDW), service was great, and we got a visit from Remy.

We have eaten at both and much prefer the food and atmosphere at Coral Reef. We did get to meet Remy at Chefs, but he was literally at our table for 1-2 minutes. The food was 'meh' at best.
We have eaten at Coral Reef several times and have never had a bad meal there.

I'm not as experienced with les Chefs de France as I am with the Coral Reef, but I find the latter to be nearly unmissable. I've been to the Coral Reef several times for lunch and dinner. I've always tried something different and liked all of it. I also find the wait staff friendly and knowledgeable. It is, however, a long meal, which seems to bother many.

I've only been to les Chefs once, for lunch. I liked what I had there and there are many other items on the menu that I'd like to try on future visits, but the Coral Reef is the one restaurant in Epcot that I would not skip for the opportunity to visit les Chefs again.
