In addition to eliminating the lunch menu recently and changing to "dinner all day", Chefs de France has revised its dessert menu. NO MORE PROFITEROLES. All gone. At least I read that it's so on Allears on facebook this morning. There's some sort of cream puff swan dessert that they say is similar. Does anyone else know anything about this? The photo is an instagram from L'artisan des Glaces yesterday. safe_image.php.jpe

Very sad to hear this. I am on DlxDP for just one day in May and booked CdF for dinner after my excellent experience there in December. I was planning on the profiteroles for dessert :( I have been underwhelmed at most of the desserts at the TS restaurants lately. They are overpriced to make you feel better when using a DP. But so not worth it OOP!

Desserts:
. . . Crème Brulee
. . . Chocolate mousse Fresh strawberry and cream cake
. . . Daily assortment of fresh sorbets, madeleine Puff choux with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce

Yes, I already checked that on the Disney site. I'm asking if anyone can confirm the changes that were posted by L'artisan des Glaces. When someone asked if the profiteroles will no longer be on the menu, they confirmed it.

Puff choux with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce are profiteroles

Profiteroles is The name of The dessert in french

Noooo - my strawberry cream cake is gone (but I think I was the only person who loved it!).

This is what was posted on Instagram April 13 and then shared by Allears on facebook:

Today Chefs de France is introducing a new dessert menu. We make the sorbets & ice creams.

oldkeywester15No profiteroles?
  • artisandesglace@oldkeywester15 No more, but the Cream puff swan filled with chocolate mousse, chocolate sauce and mint chocolate chip ice cream is very close to a profiterol...

And this is the dessert menu that's showing on the Disney site, but now it's missing a few prices:

Desserts

Crème Brulee

$8.99
Chocolate mousse

Fresh strawberry and cream cake
with raspberry sauce and strawberry sorbet

Daily assortment of fresh sorbets, madeleine

We have a reservation for dinner in September... Heard great things about this restaurant... And the desserts.
