Chefs de France - brunch

If anyone is still looking for reservations - it looks like they released a lot more - there are availability most of the Fridays and Saturdays.

Thoroughly enjoyed brunch today. Posted more about it here on the F&W thread. Pricey but food was good, fantastic service, mimosas plentiful. Definitely expect to sit with other parties. I left full and happy.

Thanks for your review!! We went today as well. Your review is much more thorough than mine. For us, we liked it, but didn't love it. The service was superb, and we enjoyed the couple we were seated with as well. Our mimosa glasses and coffee cups were constantly refilled by our fantastic server. The baguettes were excellent and one of the ham and cheese croissants. The cold quiche was sadly inedible for us. We tried filling up on fruit and cheese. We just aren't very big on pastries/bread for a full meal, so we were slightly dissatisfied. I guess we prefer more protein and less bread. We knew the menu ahead of time, but we thought we'd give it a go anyway. We're very glad we went, but it's definitely a once and done for us. I hope I don't sound too negative, because we did enjoy ourselves. The bread/pastry heavy menu just wasn't for us.

Completely get it and don't think you sound negative. I'm a carb lover so it was perfect for me as I could eat my (considerable) weight in baguette and croissants but otherwise agree that one might be disappointed. They'd originally mentioned an egg & cheese sandwich and I didn't see that - did you? The cold quiche was a shame. I didn't find it inedible but think I'd have much preferred if it was kept warm in a chafing dish.
