As the PP said, yes you can use your DDP credit to pay for the Chef Menus (also called Prix Fixe menu at some places). It's a great way to get an appetizer while on the regular DDP.
The only exception that I've read, is that Flying Fish does not allow DDP user to order the Prix Fixe.
We used it on the fixed price Kona menu. DD got the chicken noodle bowl with the pot stickers and cheesecake. She devoured all of it. FWIW, they don't skimp on the portions either!
Each person orders separately so if you want the chef's special prix fixe and your husband doesn't want it, he can order from the rest of the entrees. Just remember that on the chef's special you are limited to the choices offered for each course.

Thats fab to know. DH might want the Steak but I was looking more at the options that are on offer as the prix fixe and would be more than happy with those.
Thanks! Canceled flying fish! For two TS credits I never imagined they would restrict you from ordering the prix fixe because last time we went we ordered prix fixe at les chefs, Kona, and le Cellier and they were all 1 TS credits. The prix fixe looks amazing at flying fish and was the main reason I argued to try that restaurant despite it being 2 TS credits. So there is a flying fish reservation for 5 that just became available for 12/23.
