Would like to book a character dinner at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort as I have not been to this one...would like any feedback on this character meal or possible reccomendations of other character dinners....

Thanks diser's

We love CM. The food is great. The charecter interaction is the best we have had anywhere on property. The service is also very good.

Here's a link to scroll down to you find Chef Mickeys - there are about 6 links to click on from the "food porn" thread - dis'ers take pictures of their meals, and add comments!!

so many feel that CM is a must do to start their trips!! It just depends on what you are looking for - we prefer other places - but when ds were young, and when we stayed at the Contemp - we did enjoy the fun and loud entertainment at CM!!

PS right here on this board - 2 people at least (Where we ate... and another one...)

both posters on their first post list Chef Mickeys - one person didnt like it, and if you read others who commented, they do enjoy CM

the 2nd one - she posted pictures from her places and her son is adorable enjoying the character meals - including chef mickeys!

Went last year for my birthday, character interaction was great but he food was horrible.

:) we truly love chef mickeys. the food is excellent quality buffet food, much better than a hometown buffet type place. the character interaction alone is worth going for. it is such a wonderful enviroment for children! if you have kids, you MUST go

Just got back from a trip 8/26-9/1. Our first T/S meal was CM. 6 of us were visiting Disney for the 5th time and 5 of us were first timers. We love Disney and always try to include CM even when we are having only one T/S on a trip. Since we had free dining we ate at CM, Boma's, Le Cellier, Crystal Palace, Sci-Fi, and Wolfgang Puck's cafe. After the trip I asked the kids which was their favorite T/S. I got CM as the favorite buffet and it was split on Le Cellier and Wolfgang Pucks for ordering off the menu. The food was excellent and I think it has a wide variety of offerings. I think the character interaction comments by previous posters are accurate, it is always one of the best. I would add that CM has a big sundae bar as one of the dessert offerings, because of this it has less baked desserts than either Boma's or CP. One other comment I would like to add is that we had great food everywhere we ate, when the food is free it just tastes better!!
