My ADR is for 11:10 for breakfast but I just read on Allearsnet that they only serve until 11:30. Will this give us enough time for character interaction? I really don't want to be rushed? Thanks

they won't kick you out and they won't get rid of the characters - quite the opposite, you're bound for some of the best interaction anywhere. if i have the time to do it, i look forward to last seating just for that reason.

Not sure when you are going, but during Free DDP Chef Mickey's will be open for lunch, so you may end on bordering both meals. We have an 11am seating on 9/1. It'll be interesting to see what buffet we get too.

I agree - the character interaction is GREAT when you make late breakfast ressies.... I never thought about the breakfast to lunch switch over and think you may just make out nicely.

I have older children, so when the characters are out, and there is a little kid going nutz when they see a character coming around - we try to minimize our interactions... we did a late breakfast at Ohanas once - all the little kids were just about gone - so we had LOTS of fun :)

Enjoy!

I think your time is perfect!! We like to eat brunch then hit the parks... we don't eat again until later in the evening. It works out perfectly. We have always had lots of character interaction at that time too. Enjoy!

I agree with the others. We had a late ADR and the food was great as was character interaction. Go! Enjoy!

I have read on other posts about things like napkin twirling happening at various times at Chef Mickey's. Do they do this often or might you miss out on it if you have a late seating?

I don't know this will be our first time, I'm suprising the whole family including DH. Now I have to find a clever way of doing it.

But the great news is I'm NOW A Mouseketeer:woohoo:

It's the little things in life that make me happy!!!!

Like every 20-30 minutes :) You will probably see it twice on average. The character tend to make it around twice too.
