Hi,
Ever vsince we have been going to WDW we have always gone to Chef Mickeys in the Contempory. I was just wondering how far in advance you would have to book for an early seating. I know that they are always full but it is great!!!
The characters are there, and you get a buffet!! My kids love the ice- cream!!

We love Chef Mickey's too! We went in September. Our reservation was for, I think, 8:00 Saturday morning. We called back in March or April, but I think that was mostly just for our peace of mind. Good luck!

It's a very popular place. You should book it at the 180-day mark when looking for a specific date and time.

I just called yesterday and was able to get a 7:00 am ADR for 4 people on November 12. It was the exact time that I wanted so I was very happy, though I know that not everyone would want it that early! I was suprised that it was available. We just decided to add this one, the rest of our ADRs were made months ago!

I would say call as soon as you know what your dates are as long as you are within the 180 mark! Good Luck!

I just kept calling until I got times I wanted. I would call every evening between 8 and 9 and asking about ADRs until I got one. Just be persistant.

I called right at our 180 day mark and got Chef Mickey's for dinner at the prime time of 6 p.m. That was for June. If you're going during a busier time of year, the earlier you should call.

I have called well in advance and I have called last minute and always been able to get in. I think the key is the time of year that you are chosing to go. If you are not sure about how busy, I would definitely take the above advice & book 180 days out. The # is same as all other dining....407-wdining. Good Luck & Enjoy!

I was just there yesterday for a 7:00 am breakfast that was booked only about 2 weeks in advance. It was my first time there and it was absolutely great. There is a large food selection and I loved the characters. Our table had a view of the castle which was just beautiful to watch as the sun rose. Best of luck and have a wonderful trip!
