Chef Mickey's

Hey, I'm 32 and it's STILL a MUST on every one of my trips!! :teeth:

My 8yo son loves it and so do my parents - in their 50's !

We are also going to eat there on our honeymoon! I'm 25 and DF is 28.

Oh yes! My family ranges in age from 7 to 54 and we all enjoy Chef Mickey's!!

Same here - family ranges from 5 to 54 and everyone loved Chef Mickey's. My 23 year old brother especially enjoyed it. Besides having the big cheese come say hello to you at your table, Chef Mickey's has great food :cheer2:

Yes, but you have to convince them to try to put those "i've got to act cool at all times" feelings aside. I have a 12 year old who has grown up there. When she finally realizes that none of the kids she goes to school with, read boys, are at Chef Mickeys she loosens up. She gets her picture taken, gets autographs AND twirls her napkin during the party song.

I'm 43 and have just made our ressies for our trip :cool1:

Of course I blame it all on DD......... :rolleyes1

I just had to respond! My girls are 16 and 13 as well, and we are going to Chef Mickey's on our next trip. I was thinking the same thing, that they might be too old, but judging by the responses, I guess not.

Here's something else that's a little bit spooky...my name is Michelle and when I looked at your trip ticker, I realized that you'll be at Disney the same time we are! :dumbo: :goofy: :tigger: :donald:

DW would eat at Chef Mickey's every night if she made the plans. She's 35. I at 36 also love it. We went with my mother, DW's parents and our DS (3 1/2) and DD (1), everyone loved it. There were a very wide rage of ages and while we were there everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Young, Teens and Old. So long as they can get into the Disney spirit, they should enjoy themselves.

Isn't Mickey the reason why Disney is the most popular vacation destination in the world? My family is going in May, and the youngest non-infant is 19. That said, when we started planning a nice family brunch for one day of the trip, we ended up choosing a character breakfast mainly on the fact that it would be Mickey, the reason why we've taken so many family trips to Disney.

OMIGOSH! Where are you staying?

Thanks everyone for your responses. We will definitely be going to have dinner with Mickey!

Actually we will be going to universal for three days and then spending seven days at Port Orleans. :) :)

My 13 year old nephew was too cool for Chef Mickeys, but the characters had a lot of fun with him, especially Chip and Dale, and he had a fun time. Even though it seems physically impossible for a 13 year old boy to smile. He said he liked it and seemed to enjoy bantering back and forth with Chip and DAle. Have fun!

My kids are 14 and 12 and are looking forward to that restaurant the most....they've been there three other times! Absolute must! It is soooo fun for every age!
