Chef Mickey's without an ADR?

Hi! We're heading to Disney on Sunday (yipee!) I was not able to get a reservation at Chef Mickey's for dinner - is it worth a try to stop in and see if they have any availability? Or not? Anybody tried this? Thanks!

It is worth a try, but Chef Mickeys is one of the most popular places in the World so it tends to be very difficult to walk up to. I think your best bet is to arrive as soon as it opens for dinner. You may want to keep trying the online reservation system. I tried for 3 months to get an ADR for dinner @ Chef Mickeys this past Dec and was finally able to get a spot 1 week before we left.

Thank you! This was an unplanned trip - only 1 month notice, but luckily I did get most of my ADRs...just not Chef Mickey's. I guess I'll keep trying!

I agree, I'd keep calling. I was able to get an ADR while we were there Thanksgiving week with one day's notice.

If you do try a walk up, find out what time dinner begins. During peak season dinner will begin at 4pm. That would be the best time for a walk up.

We will be there next week and just two days ago I was able to snag a Chef Mickey's for dinner for Wednesday. I just kept checking over and over again. They open up all the time but they are usually gone really fast. Just keep checking and be flexible in your searches.

A few years ago my family and I went there for dinner without an ADR and were able to be seated, although they told us it would be a 45 - 50 minute wait. However since we were staying at the Contemporary we didn't mind the wait because it wasn't like we were rushing to back to another location.
