Wow! No need to bash the food allergy people. With life threatening allergies, outside of Disney we do the same thing. Not because they HAVE to but because it will keep my son alive. Actually, normally I map out where we will eat, comb the menu online, call the manager 2 days ahead of time during non rush times. Then again talk to a manager when we arrive. I hate that I need to talk through this with so many but an always gracious and appreciative.

Oh no bashing here! My daughter was diagnosed with a tree nut allergy at 12! Lots of reading labels here!
