Please help!

We are staying at the WL (1st time) and I don't know much about the transportation situation and the ease of getting to different locations.

My dd - 5 and ds - 9 would like to do a character breakfast the morning we go to the MK. We have narrowed our choices to Chef Mickey's or 'Ohana. We've eaten at CM, dinner only. We've never been to 'Ohana.

I think it would be fun to try somewhere new - 'Ohana.
I'm worried about getting to the Poly from the WL. I've read that there is a boat from the WL to the Contemporary, so that makes Chef Mickey's appealing.

Suggestions? Opinions? HELP PLEASE!

I will be going to the 'Ohanas character breakfast next week, on the 12th. We are staying at the CR, but were unable to make a PS for Chef Mickey's. That would have been my first choice. But 'Ohanas is fine, it'll give us a chance to see another resort. I've heard good things about the 'Ohanas breakfast, and their menu looks appealing. I'm excited to be going, it sounds like fun. If you can get a PS for either, I personally don't think you can go wrong. Another thing about 'Ohanas is that breakfast is served family style instead of buffet style. Gives you time to sit and enjoy the food and the characters.

I have been to both breakfasts. We just ate breakfast at Chef Mickey's for the first time this past Easter week, and we loved it! The selection was much greater than 'Ohana. Chef Mickey's was a little loud, but fun. They have the most amazing glazed chocolate frosted donuts!!!! If you can get the PS's, I would say go for Chef Mickeys!!! :)

We have been to both while staying at the WL. Both are pretty easy to get to. You take the boat to cont. then if you choose O'hana you just hop on the monorail to the poly.

Both have very good food and character interaction. You honestly can't go wrong with either.

I guess if you had to push me for an answer I would give O'hana a tiny lead, but only because we love the atmospere at the poly. But both are good.

have fun

We really love the Ohana breakfast. But for us, its a matter of style. Our kids are still little enough that a buffet means I spend more time getting food than eating food, at Ohana someone brings your plate to you. Your kids are old enough to handle their own plates, so this may not be a factor.

I also love the Poly as a resort, and eating there gives an excuse to visit. The Contemporary has always left me cold.

We are staying at CR but eating breakfast at 'Ohana! We have eaten Chef Mickey's breakfast before. It was fun, but we liked Cinderella's and Crystal Palace better. We like getting an 8am ps in the park on a non early entry day and getting in before the masses! We do love the Poly atmosphere(and Kona Cafe), so we thought we would give this a whirl. A short monorail ride from CR, and going in the direction toward MK!! :D Either will be fun, we like trying new places! :D
PS-We did CP at 8:05 from WL and it was a quick boat ride. The Captain took us straight there as their were only 3 families and we all had PS's in the MK. We lucked out:cool: !
