My son LOVES Mickey so I am thinking of doing Chef Mickey's dinner and Tusker House breakfast on different days. Should I just stick with one or keep both? Just going for the fun experience at Chef Mickey's. Thanks!!!

I say, when in Disney, do it all! I've never done a Tusker house breakfast, so i cannot speak on that, but my one experience at Tusker house lead me to booking it again my for trip in July. Chef Mickey's gets mixed reviews. I think the food is good enough. If you're solely going for the purpose of character interactions, I'd do both :)

I agree, do both! We haven't done dinner at Chef Mickey's, but we have done breakfast at both and the character interactions were great. Chef Mickey's does get mixed reviews, but we really enjoyed our breakfast there. We loved the food at Tusker House last trip so much that we made a reservation for our upcoming trip in September.

Tusker House is my favorite breakfast on property. The food is great and service has been very good. The characters come around and do a little parade with the kids through he dining room too. It's great!

Dissent! If not on the dining plan, just do one. Minnie isn't at Tusker but she is at the character meet in AK. Character dinners end up being $200+ a piece and those two are pretty similar. I'd pick Tusker because the food is silghtly better and CM is out of the way for us, but if I was staying at the Contemporary or had a rest day I needed to fill I'd pick CM

(having said that I have 5 character meals scheduled for my upcoming trip so do as I say, not as I do :rolleyes1)

I guess it's a tangent....but just throwing out that farmer Mickey is at Garden Grill in Epcot...and gets excited when he sees people eating things he grew. We had a PPO breakfast in April....filled up, experienced great character interaction and walked right on to Soarin'.

Doing character meals is a matter of personal preference...I like them and we did 3 during our trip...and I didn't even have little kids in my Group:)

Personally love Tusker House, we do breakfast there almost every trip. It's our favorite character meal, obviously if you wanna meet Minnie you need to go somewhere else, like Chef Mickey's. We did Chef Mickey's once and were not impressed. But definitely would be open to trying it again.
