What's the fastest way to get from Chef Mickey's to Magic Kingdom? We have late reservations (7pm, earliest we could get) on the night of MNSSHP and want to find the quickest way to get to the party. Suggestions?

Thanks!
Kate

Is the Mnsshp starting later this year? The fastest way from chef mickeys would be the monorail to Magic Kingdom I believe! That seems to be the fastest way we have ever gotten there it's not far at all fom MK and the Monrail should be a short trip!

I would walk, otherwise you will have to go all the way around.

If it were me, I would skip Chef Mickey's. If you don't get to the party until after 8:00, it's going to be crowded. We always went to the back of the park at 7:00 and everything was walk-on. You're spending alot for those party tickets, I wouldn't spend the first hour or two out of the park.

I would love to cancel CM (actually I am trying to reschedule for a different night), but I might get disowned....I'm still trying to get an earlier reservation, also.

The party is from 7-12, to the pp that asked.

The thing about that is that you can get in at 4:00 and enjoy at least part of the park while it is closed to everyone else from 6:00 to 7:00. I would suggest walking up at 5:00 when they opened and try to get in then. If not, to answer your question, I would walk! It's actually pretty quick!

We're dining out of the park as well, 5:30 at Artist Point. I don't care if we get to the party at 7:00, I don't feel like dragging everyone over there at 4:00 pm. I'm just as excited to see the Wilderness Lodge as go to the party frankly, and that's the only night we can really fit it in.

JMHO here but last we spent two weeks at Disney last fall, it was my first trip there since I was about 11 or 12 and my wifes first trip there ever. MNSSHP was by a long shot the one single thing that was on top of our must do list for this years trip. It is great and the time flys while you are there. I would not waste time doing anything else but the party and I would be there for as much of it as I can possibly get there for. Like I said that is JMHO.

Definitely walk -- it's a short walk. (Though it doesn't seem so short when you are running and pushing a stroller so you can make it in time for the fireworks. )

Call everyday and you may get lucky someone may have to cancel for some reason it does happen! Good Luck!

We were able to get in with our MNSSHP tickets just a little after 3pm last year. If they do that again, you could actually go into the park for three hours or so before your ADR, leave to eat, and then come back to the party again.

ITA! You think 5 hours for the party is such a long time but the times goes by SO fast! MNSSHP is a blast. Here's some pixie dust on getting a different ADR for Chef Mickey's. pixiedust:

The walk to MK is only about 10 minutes. It could easily take 30 minutes on the monorail with all the stops and waiting to get on.

I've been told that Disney has decided not to close the park for non party goers untill 7pm and we will not be able to enter with our MNSSHP tickets untill 5pm.

Anyone have any other information? :dogdance: :dogdance:
