Chef Mickey's - Party is split

I have two reservations for Chef Mickey's breakfast, 7 in one group and 3 in the second. They are 5 minutes apart. If we go early and ask (very nicely of course), how likely are we to be able to sit together or even close at different tables? I would really love to see my grandchildren's faces when the characters come out.

No way to know that. They will try to put you together or close if you ask but they can't guarantee.

And we did get lucky! Had tables side by side and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and got to see all the characters with the grand kids. Great experience!
