Chef Mickey's or the Wave?

Ihave reservations at CM in November for 9:30am when the park opens at 9am. I could book the Wave for 8:30am instead. We're seeing Mickey & friends at the Minnie Holiday dinner so other than the characters, how do they compare?

I think the Wave has an excellent breakfast buffet. Assuming you are paying OOP for this...and you already have characters booked for another dining experience...I would change to the wave.

There's no comparison. You DO NOT go to CM for the food!!! If you don't care about the characters for this meal, go to the Wave.

If it's not a character thing, drop CM's and go to the Wave. The food is WAY better and about half the price. Plus the place itself is quiet and relaxing. CM is anything but.

The only advantage CM has over The Wave is characters. If you are going for the food instead of the characters go with The Wave.

Thanks for much. The Wave is what I was leaning towards, I just feel like since I was lucky enough to score a reservation at CM, I should be using it. Disney induced guilt!

We really love The Wave. I like that you can either have the buffet, or order off the menu. Not everyone has a"buffet" appetite first thing in the morning! The service is great, and I always get in, even without an ADr.
