Our kids are 10 and 8 year old boys and a (just) 4 year old girl. We have not done Chef Mickeys before and we have reservations in November at 10:50. Then I started having regret using a Sit down credit on breakfast and reserved Garden Grille for that night....which to keep?

Our kids enjoyed both of those. Chef Mickey's is good regular breakfast food, plenty of character interaction and you get the photo at the beginning of the meal (for purchase of course...unless you have the Photopass Plus then the photo package is included).

Garden Grill is really neat, it rotates and again...pretty regular food for kids. Tons of character interaction at this restaurant, but it's quieter than Chef Mickey's. No photos taken at the beginning of your meal but your server can take one of you at your table if you want one.

Both are places I'd recommend trying at least once, if I had to choose which to try first.....goodness that is hard. I would probably go with Chef Mickey's first though, and then do Garden Grill at a later date.

Thank you! At this point, I am all about relaxing! So I think we'll go with Garden Grille.

I would say Garden Grill, it is much more relaxed than Chef Mickeys!

My DH and I loved the Garden Grill. Good food, and character came around more than once. Good food. Check menu to be sure. It was like a skillet with a bunch of good things on it when we went. It was just my DH and I when we went and I think it was Goofy just kept coming around, we got sick of him (no kids with us).

CM was just okay to hubby and us. To me the breakfast food quality was not near as good as CP or GG supper. Lots of characters roaming around but it was crazy and I just didn't care for it. I think we missed a character too, because for some reason we either missed when we were getting food, or they never got around to us. Kids liked it though! Go figure!

We have done the garden grill in the past and thought it was good, but the character interaction was not as good as other places. It is a tight area, and it is neat that the floor spins, but for pure character interaction, Chef Mickeys. The food is probably better at Garden Grille.

We had amazing character interaction at Garden Grill when we were there with our three kids. Chip and Dale were the highlight.

We've also been to Chef Mickey's and will not be going back. Too chaotic and for some reason it took really long for the characters to get around.
