Could someone advise which is the best to go to. Dinner or breakfast character meal.

I have been to CP before and had lunch but have never had dinner here and have never been to CM.

We have been to a variety of character meals They are all similar in food variety. The major difference is what characters are at each meal. The dinner and breakfast at Chef Mickey's are both very good. The most enjoyable character meal we had was at Hollywood and Vine at the Studios. The food is good and the entertainment is really great! When Minnie and Goofy start dancing the whole restaurant runs over to watch, and some even join in.
I suggest you decide what characters you want to see and take it from there....Enjoy!!!!!

Can only speak about breakfast and both are wonderful!!! We never miss going to either one for breakfast!!!

Hasn't the CP been closed for remodeling? When we were there in Dec. it definitely was. Does anyone have any information on when it is re-opening?

I made a PS for Feb 7th for the CP so it has to be open by then. We took our Son there a few years ago for dinner with Pooh and buds! We hasd a ball and the food was really good! This year we are doing breakfast there!

I vote for doing both, both were alot of Fun and the kids do not have to wait in lines to see there favorite Characters. My kids are big Pooh and gang fans as well as Mickey and Minnie. We did CP breakfast and CM Dinner.

We had breakfast at Chef Mickey's in 2000 and we really didn't care for it. Lots of cold food, and some was just gross. In 2002, being that I MUST go to a character breakfast , we agreed on trying Crystal Palace. We loved it! Great fresh food and fruit and better interaction with Pooh and friends. Just my opinion. :)

CP reopened mid Dec (18 I think)

I love Breakfast and lunch at CP, but feel the food at H&V is slightly better for lunch. We can't stand CM's. Cold bland over cooked food, poor service and those stupid steps if you are unlucky enough to sit up there. Who in the world who put steps in a buffett restaurant. That definately makes it not child friendly in my book.

we have had dinner at both restaurants several times, and while we enjoyed both, I would give the nod to Chef Mickey's over Crystal Palace.

1. You dont' need to enter a park to eat.
2. The particular variety of food I think appeals to more people.
3. There is great character interaction!
4. You can also get a family picture taken.

Sorry, we have never had breakfast at either location. :):):)
