I think I am going to go with a buffet our last night at Disneyworld. Which do you prefer??

I'm partial to Crystal Palace because I love Pooh and Piglet. I've had breakfast there and it was good. The character interaction was nice and the atmosphere was pretty. I've never eaten at Chef Mickey's though I plan to on our next trip, since my little one already loves Mickey's Clubhouse at 8 months old!

CP has always been great....we have been there 5 times! We went to CM once this past Oct and I will never ever eat dinner there again, the food was horrible

I personally enjoyed the food at both places equally...however I think CP is a bit quieter of an atmosphere. I think it will depend which characters you like better...the Pooh family or the FAB 5. Either way, enjoy your dinner and your trip! :)

well if the exact chara's dont matter to you I woud say Crystal P. for food choice alone :) and I like the atmosphere there a bit better :)

we are doing both this year woo hoo

Don't forget, CP requires park admission, so make sure you have a ticket for that day. :) Had friends make PSs for it once and then realized that they had no admission days left, had to buy tickets, made for one $$$$$$ meal!:rotfl2:

I am actually going to say CM!!! I like both but I feel like Chef Mickeys is a more "traditional" menu... CP is a little more abstract in food choices...Maybe you should look at the menus and decide what is better for you? I do both every trip....

Chef Mickey's does have better character interaction. The characters at CP are good enough, but they really go the extra mile at Chef Mickey's. I like the atmosphere and breakfast food better at Crystal Palace (haven't had dinner there), plus I like the convenience of being right there in the park.

Oh , this is tough, we usually do BOTH! I've never had to chose.:confused3 I guess if food is the big issue, the Crystal Palace is phenomenal! But I love doing Chef Mickey's on our last night, I love the celebratory atmosphere,:cool1: the napkin twirling and all, the classic characters, we always make it a point to "let ourselves go" and have ablast at CM, even if the food is so-so, we don't go there for the food, we go for the FUN!

I completely agree...we had dinner at CM and the food was terrible (breakfast was better). CP is a nice setting with good food also.

We had dinner at both places during out last trip in September '06, and we enjoyed them both. I think the service we got a CM's was better. At CP there is no picture package, so there is one less distraction (and expense) at dinner. CM's was quite loud, but my kids were contributing to that so I couldn't complain. They got a big kick out of watching the monorail entering the Contemporary.

Character interaction was good at both places.

A good point another poster made. You do not need a park admission to go to CM's!!

I am partial to Chef Mickey's. It has been the best character meal I have been to yet.
