Which one? I have been to both and was not impressed with either, but my son loves the characters at both soooo which would you do?

We we like both and Crystal Palace is my favorite.
But I would ask you to ask him, who does he want to see, Mickey or Pooh? That is your answer.

My family and I have been to Chef Mickey's a few times for dinner and thought it was great, so I would recommend it.

If you are making your decision based on food, I would choose Crystal Palace. I didn't mind the food at Chef Mickey's for dinner, but I LOVED the food at Crystal Palace.

You can't really go wrong with either. If your son prefers Mickey and the gang than I would do Chef Mickey's without thinking twice about it.

Enjoy!

Well I guess it depends when you go, we thought the food at Crystal Palace was awful when we went - dried out, burnt, etc. and LOVED the food at Chef Mickey's. We liked the characters at both, but the food was much better and we felt much less rushed at Mickey's.

It is tough for me also to choose because my ds loves mickey and dd loves pooh so alas the choice was made based on the flip of a coin and the fact that ds was super excited about getting there on the "train"

I like the characters better at Chef Mickey's, but the food is awesome at Crystal Palace. I guess it depends on which is more important to you!

We have been to both and do not like either one...we have found the dinner buffets to be pretty blech and overly salty so if we are in the mood for a character meal we do breakfasts, they are always great

I'm trying to decide the same thing! I think I'm leaning towards CP for breakfast and CM for dinner.

We prefer Chef Mickey's over Crystal Palace. Mostly because our service at Crystal Palace was bad.

But since Crystal Palace is going to be refurbed, you might want to check out the new place once it's done being refurbed.

This has pretty much been our experience also. We love Crystal Palace & Chef Mickey's for breakfast - the dinners are just ok, average-at-best.

I have been to both and am right there with you and do not care for buffet but we thought the characters were great at both. w th that said my 3 kids love Chef Mickeys so that is one of those I can not get off our list, they love the Mickey Characters and of course the desert and ice cream bar at CM ...what kid wouldn't. I would just pick what ever characters your child would like best!

Like other pp, I think the dinners at both are average at best. Maybe CP has slightly better food, but I would pick CP because you are in the park.:thumbsup2 You can finish your meal and get more park time in!:yay:

crystal palace...love the atmosphere and character costumes...and the food is so yummy!

oops, sorry, I was picturing liberty tree tavern...I wouldn't recommend either of the other two for dinner.

We were at Chef Mickey's for breakfast a couple weeks ago and was very underwhelmed! I thought that the food was average at best. It was my DW's b'day and the character interaction was very slow and not really memorable. We are going again in October and I'm considering the CP!

I would pick Crystal Palace. You are already in the park, and I think their food is good for a buffet. :thumbsup2
