We are taking DD (16) and her best friend (also 16) to Disney for their 16th birthday's - Do you think 2 teen girls would enjoy Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace? We have been to both restaurants before (when DD was very young). Tigger is DD's favorite character - but do you think Chef Mickey's might be more exciting/fun to get us all hyped up for the start of our trip!? Thanks!

So your daughter probably doesnt remember either to make a choice, right? Hmmm I would say Chef Mickey's would be better for a 16 year old. But on the other hand, she loves Tigger. Could you do Chef Mickey's at the start of the trip and end it with Crystal Palace?

It would depend also on what time you are getting there and if you want to use your tickets for dinner. We always (we've been twice, :rotfl: ) arrive mid afternoon, get checked in and then hit Chef Mickeys for at late ADR, then catch Wishes from the observation deck. We do CP for breakfast early on our MK day before the park opens. You probably can't go wrong either way, especially if she loves Tigger. Either way let them know you are celebrating, so they can do something special.

I can't offer any recommendation for somebody in your position. But you may want to consider that going to Crystal Palace will require park admission whereas going to Chef Mickey's won't. If you've got AP's then it probably doesn't matter.

If you can squeeze in a CP breakfast somewhere else, then do CM's the first night. Otherwise, I'd do CP - it is by far the better restaurant, all the way around. But 16-yo girls won't really care much, I don't think.

I agree it's a better restaurant and Tigger will be there. JMHO but I think CM is geared toward a younger crowd.
