My DH and I will be going to Disney with his sister and family-kids are ages 11,13,and 16yrs old. This will be their first tripto Disney. The only characters that they are requesting are Minnie and Goofy. It seems like these are the only places that have Minnie and Goofy together. Do you think that the kids are too old for Chef Mickey's? We have been to both and love both places. There will be 8 of us all together and I was able to book a breakfast already at Chef Mickey's at 7:25am. They will only be there for 4 days. The other character meal I was thinking about was Crystal Palace for lunch because my sister-law loves Winnie the Pooh. Thanks everyone !!!!

I would pick Cape May- but b/c i like the food and atmostphere alot better. Especially if you're not dealing w/ little little kids.

Also if i'm not mistaken Liberty Tree Tavern's dinner has both of those characters as well- and I think also the Donald's breakfast at Animal Kingdom (which is my favorite!)

Absoutely not! My boys are 25,22,21,20 & 16 and still LOVE Chef Mic's. It is the best place and best Disney feeling resturant in our opinion. We love it for breakfast & dinner.:cool1: :worship: :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info !!!! I will have to check on Donald's breakfast. I thought that Liberty Tree Tavern stopped the character meal the beginning of the year. Would anyone know what characters are at the Donald's breakfast ?

You're right, LTT have stopped with characters.

I've done Donald's before and certainly seen Goofy but I can't remember if Minnie was there or not??:confused3

We have done Cape May a ton of times and every time the food is awesome and Minnie and Goofy are there in bathing suits..since 2006.

We are going to change things up and try CM in March just so we can say we did it :lmao:

I like Cape May Cafe better than CM's. It is not as crowded and "busy." Goofy, Minnie and Donald come in their bathing suit attire and spend lots of time at the tables.

We love Cape May and do it every time we stay at the BC. We tried the Tusker House Breakfast last year and really enjoyed that as well. I believe it also had Minnie and Goofy.

Thanks everyone !!!! I think that I will wait for the May hours to come out and see which one will work better. I have been to both and agree that Cape May is not as loud as Chef Mickey's. The good thing about Chef Mickey's is that you see a lot more characters (and for me its a plus to see my favorite -Mickey Mouse). Thanks again for all the replies !!!! I wish that I was in Disney right now !!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
